A good driver can keep the boat and what it's pulling out of harms way. Requires a lot of attention to what's in front of you and anticipation of your best route through traffic. Though you can't control some inexperienced people who think it's fine to cut right behind you, we haven't had to panic-reel any copper or dipsey setups in all season.
