Big Jon rigger problem

cooter dog

Recommended Posts

Could be a faulty breaker or your motor drawing too much current due to resistance (motor straining to turn the pulley) Does the motor seem to be turning at the correct speed? Also may be motor is bad. Any starter rebuild shop can rebuild it . I had one fixed for 55 bucks at Golden Alternator.

Check all connection, be sure to use proper wire guage, those will cause low voltage, high amp draw. Check the breaker next. Swap it with one working. See what happens. It still pops, gotta be motor on the rigger issue. Bad brushes or commutator. Sometimes can clean them up if not worn will make a difference.
