Swivel for copper leader?

Recommended Posts

I would like to be able to run flashers or spoons on my copper lines(have been only running spoons)Will it work out ok to just snap the small 30# Sampo I use for spoons onto the big coast lock that goes to the flasher?

Andy, I would take the extra time to snip your Sampo ball bearing swivel off and retie to the ball bearing swivel itself right on the flasher. I know it would make it easier to just attach the Sampo to the ball bearing swivel, but I.M.O. you would then have 2 bearing swivels which in theory "could" counter act one another, and not possibly allowing the proper action from the flasher. Also, by eliminating the Sampo you have now taken out 1 link that could possibly fail, if you hit into a big guy-Duane
