  2. Last week of August, that will probably line up with the kings moving into the trench. The trench is the deep water between Stony Island and shoreline. It wont be hard for you to find the pack of charter boats out of Henderson wherever they are. Maybe they will be in the shipping lanes between Main Duck and Galoo fishing the 'the wall'. Good Luck.
  3. Anyone fishing out of Sandy Pond last week of August. Lake Champlain angler and boat staying there and looking for help with Tackle, depth, area to fish. Have downriggers and couple rods set up with divers. Appreciate any help. Fished Lake O 25 years ago out of Oswego so happy to be back for vacation/fishing. Thanks in advance. John F/V "The Office"
  4. Thanks for the help.............I didn't think it qualified for Southern shore.
  5. You might want to repost this in the US reports section.
  6. I use the old Penn 345 GTI's. The are slow but get the job done. They hold 300yds of backing.
  7. Just curious what reels you are using for 500 and 550 coppers?? My convector 55 is full to the brim with a 450 copper.

  11. Rigs left
  12. Friday morning, we left the creek and set down in 300' knowing the inside would be a mess after the blow Wednesday. We found a small break in 385' that was holding a ton of fish. We pounded kings and steelhead all morning. It was mostly a meat bite for us. Spoons only took skips and small steelhead. Riggers parked at 100, 110 and 135, mag divers out 265 and 335, 500 and 550 coppers did most of the damage. We 6 kings over 18 including two over 20. At the weigh in for Big Fish Friday, our 21.57lb king was one place out of the money. Saturday morning, we left the creek and headed to our weigh points from Friday. When I set the probe rigger, temp had come up 25' overnight. We adjusted our spread and started taking kings right off the bat. The bite was slower than Friday and the size was way down. Riggers at 80, 90 and 120, Mag divers at 250 and 265, 400, 450 and 500 coppers did the damage. At weigh in, our box came up short of the money and we landed in 13th place. This is only the fourth time in 17 years we didn't place in the top ten. Congrats to Blue Collar Sports for their win, and Always Something for their LOC winning lake trout that was part of their 2nd place box. 14. Given your requirements the Smart Troll might be your answer. I have very little experience with the paddle wheel for speed, but we use 4 probes every weekend on our divers, which speaks to its versatility. Only caveat is you need to be running on Android. Here's a link to the starter kit - https://www.smarttroll.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=42&tracking=15T5YUF8TFlrc06Pwub4mkVe5S4i3Dsa9fXgryKPWLmiKldvI2fq8tx0QLfemoCE
