  1. Great question! Balances need to be sent in/postmarked by April 18th. We are working on getting packets out to the captains of each team at the moment.
  2. Last night the list of players was announced on our blog, and this morning the dinner menu was released. Head on over and check it out! http://whi.tumblr.com/
  3. Dave - you better calm down with the internet. Your almost half way to 100 posts. Your gonna upset Nog with a growing internet presence.
  4. The 13lb RR's will be fine at those depths with the speed your talking about. We have a set and we run them every now and again when we aren't going very deep. However, you can't beat the A-TOM-MIK Torpedos in either the 13 or 15lb size. WE fish the 15lb size down to 100' at 2.5-3mph with minimal blow-back. Many guys have switched over to these Torpedo weights and are really taking a liking to them.
  5. Absolutely NONE. There wasn't much time for questions after the break, and I don't even think the DEC knows much about the project with no real proposals floating around.
  6. Dex - was on the phone with Yvan this morning. Announcements will be coming out in the next week or so. It's getting close bro!
  7. You'll enjoy the length on smaller width boats. Helps spread things out a little in my opinion.
  8. LOL.....where are the Hawg Wild flavors? In the Screamer? LOL
  9. Glen from what I saw at the SOTL meeting last night, they have a better than 99.5% marking and tagging rate with the trailer, so if there are a lot of non clipped kings going into the lake, those would be the wild ones. For all intents and purposes, every king stocked in the lake from both NYS and Ontario ARE clipped and tagged. Tim I thought they had trouble getting the trailer over to Canada? I remember hearing about a bunch that Canada put in that didn't get clipped and tagged.
  10. Just sayin', but in a time of financial hurt the last thing the govt. needs to know is there is natural reproduction in the lake. We have to watch this VERY closely, and make sure they don't use this as a crutch to cut back on stocking.
  11. I'm a huge MUPP fan IF we are running spoons for Kings, which those who know us will attest to the fact we rarely do. A MUPP rig is the 28 on the main line and a Mag cheated 5 or 10' above it. Spooks are hot in all the variations mentioned above with my favorite being the Lazer Spook. One of them spoons you don't ever want to take out even when it's not producing, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do! I mean the Sea Sick comes out when it's not throwing strikes! LOL
  12. Good to know K. I have one of my tourney team members who has a few. He seems to like them. There is something for just about every angler in the Daiwa lineup.
  13. I thought Ace had one. Ace fishes out of Oswego Chris. However, I know he does his Striper thing down on the Hudson in May before he heads up here.
  14. Another option for the true haters of the line-counter on the Saltist would be the Sealine LCX. Same build as the Sealine with the Saltist drag. You wont get the HS retrieval rate, but it's another option Daiwa has. I picked up a few for the LOTSA show becasue I know many people haven't ever seen one in person. So stop on by our booth! http://www.daiwa.com/reel/detail.aspx?id=505
  15. I want to see this thread hit 10,000 views! I wonder if Chad knows how long the longest thread was?
  16. Just talked to him TollRoad. They are still for sale. He hasn't been on the site in a few days. He's been working. Said he will be on later tonight.
  17. I have used Minn Kota since back in my Bass fishing tournaments day. I had an MK 440 on the Ranger that I just sold, and it never gave me a lick of an issue. Can't remember the model number I had on my first Ranger. One option I might suggest is to add a DC charger too. A 1 bank DC charger from MK is about $100. This charger uses your alternator to charge your accessory battery while on the water.
  18. Let's make this clear.......A certain someone helped you win becasue they couldn't count! You didn't pull a KVD by beating someone by 10 pounds on that day.
  19. I'm talking to your Ol' man Dave! No way he can afford to let you have both of those days off! IF he does allow it I'm sending in Cold Steel's Casey Prisco to prime you Friday night. Roofies in your drinks! LMAO!!!!
  20. I think they are a great product, but when they came out we were already very vested in copper set-ups. For the weekend warrior looking to get into junk line fishing I would suggest buying two extra wire rods and 2 sets of the torpedos. This would allow them to have 2 rods that could fish just about any depth.
  21. Dude, I'll buy your competitors product! [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
