  1. Nick, What riggers and rod holders did you buy? Let us know how your rigging her. I know more people than myself are curious!
  2. Set out of Irondequoit about 8am after Jax was fiddling with the boat. Got out there and had more motor problems. Anyway, we figured them out and we were in good shape after that. Water was gin clear and in the lower 40's. We missed one west of of the bay and didn't have another touch till shipbuilders. We went 1 for 2 east of the bay and that would be it. Just couldn't find the color out there today.
  3. Hey bud, I must have missed your report! Good to see your back. I knew you couldnt stay away for too long!
  4. Your asking a lot from your otter boat! Wait till you see what a 600 does to it. Any more weight and it will be pulling it further behind ur boat and possibly get into your wires.
  5. I was under the impression they ran during the summer months though?
  6. I may have a head unit for this if someone is interested. Not to hijack the thread.
  7. I need to hear more on those extra keels. Not that I NEED them, but if it helps a little then Id be interested.
  8. Your right Gamble.....I have heard of about 6 caught there this year. Wonder if its the same dumb fish!
  9. Whats wrong with that? Aren't I allowed to? I mean I did catch a rare fish. Too bad it wasn't 10 pounds or else it would be going on my wall!
  10. Gorilla Tough Berkley Downrigger Rods. 8'6" Medium Action 12-30lb line 1/2-2 1/2 oz 2pc Foam Handle These are very good looking rods. I almost want to use them myself, but I am a Daiwa man. I want to stay consistent on my boat, and that means ALL Heartlands. Price tag on each rod reads $69.99. Make me an offer I cant refuse! There are two of them for sale (by my uncle) so any offers have to go through him. These are BRAND new. Buyer pays shipping.
  11. Good stuff guys. The only other boat out our way had similar results. I guess the snotty waves gave them lures some action.
  12. Jax's Lund. Big boat cant go in till they lift the bridge on April 1st. Bass boat needs a part for the jackplate, so its pulled apart right now.
  13. Well, we worried about the weather report of 1-3' waves out of the NW late last night, but we gave it a try anyway. Jeremy met my brother and I down at the Bay around 8am. Waves were bearable, and the fishing was HOT! We finally got into the fish a little East of Irondequoit and it didn't stop till we hit Hedges. Final count was 15 for 18. Tally was 1 Atlantic, 2 Rainbows, 12 Browns. Biggest Brown was close to 10 pounds. The Atlantic was the surprise of the day. It was my second ever, and first in the open Lake. The water ranged in color depending on where you were. The overcast sky and water color made it a great day for natural colors, and that was what they wanted. Water temps ranged from 37-40 degrees. 2 rigger bites with all the rest coming off the big boards.
