  1. I wish you guys didn't do that during the week. That sounds like a blast!
  2. This competition might have to be two fold. If I agree to that you need to agree to beat me Salmon fishing with 3 coppers, 2 wires, and 3 riggers off the Bar in May!
  3. 29" draw Cobra Sidewinder 5 pin sight with .19 pins Limb Driver's Vapor Trail Drop Away Rest Alpine Archery 5 Arrow Quiver G5 Meta Peep Sight 10 Goldtip XT Hunter Arrows $650 OBO
  4. Im putting my Bowtech Guardian up for sale for the Mathews Z7! Indian Mountain is selling the Z7 for $799 (almost 100%).
  5. I went fishing! Then my ol' lady cooked me a Sunday dinner! LOL
  6. Yeah guys, most charters like to take a max of 4 people. So, your probably looking at two boats. Keep that in mind as that means twice the cost. I know how some bachelor parties can, so please remember that the Captain is responsible for your safety, and try not to put him in a bad position. I'm sure you guys will be fine. My biggest argument for people who want to bring 5 or 6 people is that it means you have to wait longer for your turn to come around. With two boats you guys can have a little tourney between friends.
  7. Id rather see you guys hook up to each others stern and have a tug of war! Aren't the Pro-Ams a way to settle bets?
  8. Nah Clark, Sealines have been the same for a while. The Accudepth was introduced as a price point reel for the guy who cant afford to outfit 6,8, or 10 rods with Sealines @ about a $100 a pop. They quickly fixed those Accudepths and the Accudepth Plus model was solid and still is. I own 6 of them and I know Billy beat the crap out of them on his wire divers with Lake Trout from Cayuga!
  9. Tom, I am blaming this late birthday wish on Mickey Mouse himself! Happy Birthday!
  10. I guess I missed this bud! Stupid Disney! LOL Anyway, Happy B-Day and I hope we win on Saturday!
  11. Tom, Are you trying to help keep the cost of stamps down from the US Postal Service in the future by generating a lot of business for them ? USPS is going to show a nice profit this year! PS. Check to see if I am in your spam box again.
  12. Anyone who has never been to one of these should take the time to attend this one. The DEC give out all thier data and you can ask whatever questions you'd like. One way for us lake fisherman to voice our opinion.
  13. I have heard great things about Tuna Tom, but Daiwa has some great technicians too. The plus with sending them back to Daiwa is they get a chance to open the reel up and see what exactly caused your problem, so if it is a problem that they continually see they can improve in future models. Either way you go your reels will be like new when they come back.
  14. I got spanked one fall off the Genny by a guy using a longer fly leader than me. We generally stick with 22-24" leaders, but he was using 30" leaders. Wish he would have told me that earlier in the day! It all comes down to confidence and the mood the fish are in. That's why there are never any real constants when fishing.
  15. One works just fine! I ran my 700 copper off it like it was a 500. Just make sure your measurements are good and it will run nicely.
  16. Keep your head up bud! I know what your going through.
  17. Rig a way to steer the kicker. I know of a couple bahas that have it in Oswego. I'm pretty sure Captain Clearance Crisp has it in Pt. Breeze, and I have seen it on other inboard vessels.
  18. Lots of guys in Oswego do this. I know its do-able. Hank should have some insight on this.
  19. I know Berts and Traxtech were interchangeable. Not sure about the new Cannon stuff.
  20. If your talking about braid then I hope you dont mind clumps of fleas all over the place come flea season. The braid is real bad with the fleas. I deal with it, but most people wont. Also if you use it on a Cannon Downrigger you will loose your short stop feature. As for your probe rigger taking the shots. Its probably because you have it sitting in the zone. What I mean is you are using it to find the ideal temperature. You cant stack another rigger within 10 feet of that depth mark or face the challenge of a tangle.
  21. Otters DONT flip! When they go through a wave, and they will, all they simply do is swim. Turn your boat at it and it will pop right up. From the knot to the front it should be 9.5 inches. Knot to rear 11.5 inches. something you should try if your handy enough. Find a way to affix a metal washer to both the inside and outside of the board right over the pre-drilled holes. The holes WILL wear. This might help with that. I have had mine for 3 or 4 seasons now. They get used EVERY time I fish Spring-Fall.
  22. LMFAO!
  23. Im a Pink Panties type guy!
