  1. Habenaro, might be a discontinued color though.
  2. Great idea. Make sure the GT56 is the lowest transducer on the transom so when using the side imaging the other transducers don't get in the way. Other than having to go into the settings for transducer installation and choose what transducer you're running it will work.
  3. For open water trolling the P66 offers a wider cone angle and dual frequencies. The wider cone angle allows you to see more under your boat. The GT56 has a high wide CHIRP frequency. This gets you a 16-24 degree cone angle. The P66 on 50khz can get you 40-45 degrees. It's almost double the size to allow you to see more. These fish finders with pre-packaged transducers are good all around transducers. but they are geared towards inland fisherman who bass, panfish, and walleye fish shallow water looking for structure and bottom detail. For trolling guys are in a large lake in open water looking for pelagic fish, so the bigger cones allow you to see more.
  4. Depends on the boat. If you want a transom mount transducer then an Airmar P66. If you want a thru-hull (recommended) an Airmar B60.
  5. Neither transducer is great for trolling, becasue of the small cone angles.
  6. I've had 3' leaders work and 8' leaders work behind Kingfishers. It comes down to confidence and trolling speeds.
  7. You can run it either way.
  8. I believe it's a discontinued color, but they will still make it if a shop wants it.
  9. All reels spoken for at this time.
  10. 2 @ 50 size 4 @ 60 size $100ea The 60 size can hold up to 400' of copper. The 50 size is good for 10 colors of lead. These reels were used for one season, and the original boxes are still available. I'd prefer not to ship. I work in Sodus, live in Rochester, and fish at the Oak. I can be flexible on pick up.
  11. Hey guys, I'm just passing on a coupon code that's live for you to use shopping in the Salmon and Steelhead section on the FishUSA website. Click on the FishUSA link and use code ADX15 at checkout. - Link to FishUSA
  12. You have two options. You can get a single battery that's 24v, or go with two 12v batteries in series.
  13. I sell Pro Guide at Krenzer Marine. What purpose are you looking to use them for, and for what voltage (12,24,36)?
  14. Be careful putting the weight of 3 lead acid batteries and a trolling motor in the bow of that rig. It will affect the bow lift/ride. This hull design was constructed 20+ years ago, and these trolling motor options weren't "a thing." If you want to go 36v to take advantage of the run time and thrust I'd suggest going with 1 36v Lithium, or 2 in parallel, to run a 36v trolling motor. I also have 24v lithium options as well to keep weight down. Lithium batteries aren't cheap, but they have a longer life expectancy, and offer better power throughout the a charge.
  15. We sell quite a few Robolo's and most stay here on Lake Ontario. The new 25 and 27' models offer more room in the back, which is nice for our style of fishing. If you're looking for something new stop in and see me at Krenzer Marine.
  16. Do you have a link to these tabs?
  17. I'd reach out to Cold Steel or Dirty Goose Sportfishing
  18. FishUSA has them - Silver Streak
  19. I have been using shotcut with the help of YouTube tutorials. I find I just don't use it enough to remember how to do the simple stuff. I really liked Windows Movie Maker, but it was pretty basic.
  20. Theories on "the humm" are just that with no scientific data to back it. Like most things in our sport. Switching to braid definitely gets rid of the humm, but the main purpose is to fish deeper with less blowback. 150lb braid vs 150lb cable the braid is thinner.
  21. Congrats to Screamer (PRO) and Howl at the Sky (AM) for their win this weekend. A huge thank you to everyone that fished this weekend. It was a great turnout, and great to see everyone. We'd like to thank the companies who sponsored the event. FishUSA sent over a bunch of their Flagship trolling rods and hats. Shark Cannonballs USA sent over downrigger weights and snap weights. A-Tom-Mik Mfg. sponsored our big fish prizes. Lastly, the winning teams enjoyed their victory dinners at the Black North Point Breeze We also want to thank the volunteers who helped run the event. Craig Hajecki at weigh master, Chris LoPresti and Rob Westcott for documenting weights, and Robert Songin for pre checking coolers. Last, but not least, thank you too Dawn and Lynne for setting up the tent and scales each day. They're from the County tourism department and promote our fishery and charter businesses. 22. Tough question to answer. I'd go with a single 400-500' copper rod and run it down the chute so you can adjust how much is out if you really want to get into "junk line" fishing. However, the first thing I would do is master a 4 diver set-up.
