We've run Stealthcore for a few years now and have no complaints other than colors fading. I hear that's been addressed. We use the Willis Knot as well and it's easy to tie and a rock solid knot!

Why wouldn't they be? It's Labor day weekend in a few days. Kiss the season goodbye in a few weeks. I have seen more bait the last few weeks at the Oak offshore. Most are small pods. That being said I trolled a small area consisting of a few square miles. I still trust the 3 boats trawling data over what I saw this year.

24th - Fished the last double of the season today. In the morning we had a group of Walleye captains from Ohio, and on the afternoon trip we had Dave and his son from the Albany area. Landing ratio wasn't good in the morning. We cleaned 9, tossed a couple back, and dropped as many.. On the afternoon trip we landed 11. Best screen was 26-28N. We caught mostly 1 and 2 year old fish (Skippy to 15lbs). Our deep meat rigs were our best program on both charters. The new Crush Butcher pulling Pacific Herring from Familiar Bite was our best paddle. Spoons that went today were Shelly Snack, Geezer, and Rod Father. The deep meat riggers took fish from 100-175' down. The spoon riggers took fish 45-60' down. Divers and coppers took a couple shots, but our Cannon Downriggers were our studs! 25th - Our last charter of the season on the Yankee Troller was successful! We punched 4 tickets and headed back to the dock by lunch. What a difference a day makes. Yesterday we never hooked a mature fish. All we could buy were one and two year olds. Today, it was a great mix of mature and immature Salmon. We started on the 24N line and trolled North. We had a pick most of the way, but 27-29N was where it was at for us. Shelly Snack on our Cannon Downrigger and 300' A-TOM-MIK copper were good in the morning. Familiar Bite meat on the Downriggers and Wires kicked in good once the sun came up. Downriggers were parked from 50-100', and wires went from 150-200'. We also took a few fish on a FishUSA 10 color Stealthcore pulling a Warrior Spearmint spoon, and the 200' copper pulling a Team Dreamweaver NBK SS. Straight Slam Fest Today! This bachelor party from Erie, PA punched 6 tickets with us this morning while we generated over 30 bites for them! East wind over the last few days flipped the lake and forced us offshore where the more stable waters were. Our Cannon Downriggers were firing at 40, 50, & 60'. All had sliding cheaters on them. Spoons that went consistently were Salmon Candy, Shelly Snack, and NBK. 10 colors of FishUSA Stealthcore pulled a Team Dreamweaver Hot Tip NBK SS, and 200' of A-Tom-Mik Mfg. copper pulled a Geezer. We took a few shots on a 300' copper with Familiar Bite Atlantic Herring, but we never landed any of those fish. Our divers were quiet this morning, but when they did go they were out 125' on a 2.5 setting. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Lake Ontario United mobile app

We've installed a Garmin Reactor on a twin 300hp Robalo this Spring and a SIMRAD AP on a twin 300hp Pursuit a few years back. Both with type 2 pumps. -
August 11: Great day on Lake Ontario with this group from Central Pennsylvania. One fella's biggest fish ever was a sunfish, so battling a 20lb King Salmon was something he's never done and boy did he enjoy it! Big guy today was just shy of 24lbs taken on Familiar Bite. We started in 150' of water and trolled NW to 300'. We had a decent screen, but we took mostly 2yr old Salmon and Steelhead. Received a call from my buddy Tom Boddy that there was a good chew in shallower, so we trolled South into 105-135' and put a hurting on matures! Our normal meat rigs kind of rotted today, so with the high sun we tried some new rigs. That new Familiar Bite De Javu Whip Flasher was [emoji91][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91][emoji91] [emoji91]! Hot spoon today was FishUSA Glow Roy Boy by Team Dreamweaver, as well as Shelly's Snack. Our Cannon Downriggers were firing from 70-115'. Divers early were good at 175', but later in the day 225-250'. A-Tom-Mik Mfg. coppers in a 300' & 400' length each took fish. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Lake Ontario United mobile app
