    If the end goal is to see a re-introduction of the stocking program back into Lamoka lake, then providing evidence to the DEC that they already exist in there is step 1. I believe it helps make their job easier to stock a lake that already has a population of fish species in there vs. trying to make the case for "introducing a new species" into a system. As it currently stands, the DEC does not officially recognize muskies as being in Lamoka. While the tournament could help with this, you really want to see the DEC capture some in the spring trap netting this year. I believe that there is also already a study done on stocking muskies in Lamoka. Mike might be able to shed more light on that study. To the best of my knowledge the biggest concern is the oxygen levels on Lamoka.

    Content Writer for Bi-Monthly Article in Magazine Hi LOU members - I'm looking for a writer to draft a single article on a bi-monthly basis (6 articles per year). The article will consist of 300 words give or take 100. The main sections of the article would be broken down into a general fishing report for each of the five (5) great lakes - Lake Erie, Lake Ontario, Lake Huron, Lake Michigan and Lake Superior. The information for these reports can come as a summary from the reports posted by the members of our forums, friends, personal experience, etc. Obviously the reports will not be real-time like they are here on LOU - the idea is to get a general idea of what is going on currently. I'm happy for the work and you can choose to have your name included or not on the article by-line. Send me a PM if you are interested and your asking price per article. Thanks! Chad

    Would love to see them setup something like what we have here on LOU here in Rochester NY but on the East (Oswego) or West (Niagara) end of the lake / maybe even North shore too (Toronto?). Nothing tells you the weather like a live web cam that is clear and close to the water (see link below and scroll down a bit). https://www.lakeontariounited.com/fishing-hunting/page/lakeontario_map/ I have the resources to do this, just need the counties to supply funding to purchase cameras and get it setup.

    Musky Fishing - What is your preferred LB test line? Just wanted to get some feedback on what lb test line guys are fishing with these days for Musky. Vote is anonymous.

    I own a 2007 Superfisherman - awesome boat. Tough enough to handle big water but sized right to make trailering easy anywhere you want to go. I've never had any problems with mine.

    Thanks for sharing Mike - I haven't seen those before. I bought a couple Okumas two years ago with the line counter on them and love them. For someone like me that casts and trolls, it was a great option.

    Yeah I saw the same thing Mike - it's odd they don't advertise the 5.1:1 power model on their website. Maybe it's a secret reel that only you and I know about now....

    LEXA HD-400 Series Musky Reels Hi guys - I'm looking outfit a rod this year for my crankbaits. Just wondering if anyone has ever used or tried the LEXA HD-400 series (specifically the PWR-P 5.1:1). I'm weighing this option against Shimano's Tranx.     Going fishing is going to be like playing a video game at this rate. Can you imagine a United States vs. Canada tournament on the lake in the year 2100 where there are no actual boats on the water?

    Thanks guys for the support - we just finished a couple more adjustments to the server. Should see an even bigger increase in page load speeds now. About 90% of the way done now with server optimization . Then I can start working on some of the bugs and feature requests I've received.
