  1. Just a quick follow up Mike - I talked with some of my developers last night and we think we may have found a decent solution. It will allow us to generate a list of sponsors that we can update on the site at the start of each month. They are on holiday break right now and will start working on this feature for us in January. Thanks again - Chad
  2. Hi Mike - Yes, actually we switched ad servers to help us better manage our sponsors across all of our websites (LOU, LEU, GLF, and GreatLakesFishing.com). Because they are all managed in one spot now, it's been tough for me to get a list of specific sponsors for each site. I'm still working with the developers on how to best accomplish this. Stay tuned as you are not the first person to request this. Thanks - Chad
  3. That is cool! We took a family trip up there a couple years back, so much fun! Looks like you guys had a great time.
  4. Thanks for all the support guys! Pvelyk, it's like you said this upgrade is significant. I perform many basic upgrades all throughout the year but this upgrade will change 1000's of files and 10,000's of lines of code with the goal to make it look like nothing changed at all - very tough to do.
  5. Hi LOU Members - I wanted to let you know that for the last couple months we have been working hard behind the scenes to upgrade LOU to the latest version of our forum software. Our hand was forced a bit on this as we were told that the old version would no longer be supported. This means no updates, no bug fixes and no support requests if needed. Yes, we could continue to operate under the old forum software but this would put us increasingly at risk as time goes by. We already have the new software up and running over at Lake Erie United and it has been great thus far. Click on link to check it out! This is not a trivial upgrade and will take several hours to complete. I will perform the upgrade in the mid-night hours in hopes not disrupt the majority of the members experience. My intent is to keep the site look and feel as close to the current site as possible. Thanks again for all the support! Chad
  6. Wow cool - you deserve a lot of credit yourself Bob for what you do. Nice job!
  7. Very much looking forward to attending this! Runnin' Rebel going to be giving a seminar at this - should be interesting (as it always is...)

Welcome to the Greater Niagara Fishing & Outdoor Expo Niagara Falls, New York January 20-22, 2017 This "pure" fishing show is designed to be an "event" where attendees can spend a long weekend enjoying and learning about your favorite pastime versus the normal one or two hour "walk through" shows that many are used to attending. Now in our 4th year, the show continues to grow toward becoming one of the best "fishing" shows in all of the Great Lakes. With over 200 fishing exhibitor booths and over 3,000 hours of "fishing" education provided to attendees at our January 2016 show, we are the largest freshwater "fishing" show in New York State and among the largest fishing shows anywhere in the Great Lakes. http://niagarafishingexpo.com/

    Decent day

    Wow nice fish guys
  20. Awesome! Nice going guys
  21. Had a great time with my father and Joe fishing the Troy. Had some luck early and lost some nice fish later in the day. Top three fish all measured 45". Biggest for us was 44.5" (half inch short, story of my life my wife would say ). Got a chance to help Ed land nice 46" fish. Overall the tournament was a blast! Ed deserves a lot of credit for making the event so much fun, along with Jim, Steve and Bob.
  22. Not a bad day old man. Those are some pretty cool underwater photos Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. My favorite tournament of the year - hands down! Name another tournament where you get "On the water hot chili delivered to you and your crew" as part of the event? And I like the use of judge boats, it's funny that I didn't fish the PMTT this year cause they decided to get rid of judge boats. Looking forward to the Troy tourney as always
  24. Sorry I am going to miss this one as well. I have both the wife's birthday and my daughter's 1st birthday. If I ever want to go fishing again in my life, then I better be sure not to miss these family events on the home front.
