  1. that was the TEST and she passed... so now I figured I better marry her. Plus she is just over the legal size limit to keep (she only stands 5 feet 1/4 inches tall).
  2. And to think I bought her a life time fishing license for Valentines Day last year (true story!)
  3. Are you telling me I can't fish in BOTH musky tournaments AND get married on the same day? Sounds like fun to me
  4. Congrats Zach - that is just awesome! Great pictures
  5. Nice going Bob! Sounds like you are really "catching on" to this Lake O fishing Keep up the great work - your kid will thank you for it many times over!
  6. Congrats guys on the great weekend on the water! Thanks for sharing the pics and best of luck at the next leg of the tournament!
  7. Congrats Anthony! Always nice to see LOU members atop the leaderboard
  8. Just ordered 2 fifteen pound torpedo weights and have been very happy with them thus far. Plus they tuck nicely away on the boat when not in use.
  9. Hey onthewater - Glad to hear you had some good success out there! Loosing fish is part of the game and its going to happen no matter what. Going 7 for 13 is good. Make sure the hooks are sharp and the releases set tight. The advantage of setting the releases tighter is more hookups but the drawback is sometimes you will not get the rods to fire if a shaker hits. Then you end up dragging a shaker around for a while and that messes up the rest of the set. 25lb is plenty strong enough. Most guys run between 15-30lb. 25lb should keep the flees off. Maybe consider running a light leader (say 15lb floro) to stay stealthy. Oh and did I mention sharp hooks? Best of luck out there! C

Nice paprman! A quick morning is the best way to go in this heat. Glad to hear you put some fish in the boat
  11. I love hearing stories like this Jim! Thanks for sharing and glad we could open a whole new world to ya (and yes, it can get expensive!)
  12. 12.13 lbs 7/5 - Rochester, NY Sandy Creek East Fork Marina Trilene/Dreamweaver Boat: Rebel
  13. That is incredible... wowowowow
  14. Thanks again guys. I can't take all (or even the majority) of the credit. We all know who the brains behind this operation was. Jerry was even published earlier this year in an article in Great Lakes Angler on "Fishing Summer Time Browns". Credit the captain for this one
  15. Hey Guys! Thanks so much Went out today (just Rebel and me) looking to target Browns in typical Jerry fashion. I told him I saw a good article in GLAngler magazine about summer time brown trout fishing and that he should check it out sometime It was funny going fishing knowing that you had more downriggers on the boat (6) then rods you could actually run (4). Ended up being a great day out on the water for many people. We ended up with a mixed bag of browns, kings, cohos, lakers and bows. Ran a straight spoon set in 80-100 feet of water off the nose and trolled it back to Sandy. Screen looked good all the way down and we got just the fish we were looking for Can't wait to get back out there. Thanks again everyone
  16. Boat is running well so far. Can't wait to try it again tomorrow... best of luck out there!
  17. Nice going Keith! Was off Braddocks today in shallow this morning and did a couple with our biggest being an 11lb bow. Called it quits around 11 to avoid the boat traffic and work on this website project I have going on right now Possibly back out tomorrow morning to try again.
  18. Sorry to hear of your loss Vince. Our thoughts/prayers are with the entire Pierleoni family.
  19. Wow - kudos to you and Larry! That is one heck of a day muskie fishing. Most guys won't do that many ski's in an entire year!
  20. Nice job 700efiguy. Nothing like putting having a little success out there to feed the habit Glad LOU helped put some more fish in the boat for ya
  21. Hahaha - Kari (aka "booty") will tell you it was smaller than her's and I will tell you that it was twice as big as her's. Maybe we can meet in the middle and agree on 30"? Just so that I can say it was an inch bigger..... ?
  22. Nice fish Matt! Great picture of the Goonies Pirate Ship as well
  23. 29" and let go to grow even bigger for next year! Nice fish Booty Now tell them about the one that I lost...
  24. Brooke - Thanks for sharing the story - I can only imagine how exciting that must have been! Katherine and I (Chad) will be getting married on Oct. 2nd this year at Belhurst....... the same day as the next scheduled tournament! I might need to call in a sub then.... (but for which event is still to be determined ) Chad
