The number of 1 and 2 year old kings in the lake right now is astronomical. Yesterday we fished browns and only found two year classes of browns 5-6lbers and 7-9lbers. Lots of them and they were very healthy. The lake looks very healthy after the two warm winters.

There was a huge log bobbing up and down vertically out of Sandy last week. It would only come a over the surface about a foot and disappear for a minute. Not good! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Started the morning on a north troll in 100'. Did a mess of teen kings before heading in to try to find a derby brown. Beat the brown trout water for and hour and did a bow, 4 more kings and a brown. At 10am, we headed to the laker grounds. After two hours and many doubles and a triple, we boated a the LOC third place lake trout. It hit the scales at 21lbs 10oz. The fish took a Silver Glow Gambler Rig behind a Crystalina Hammerhead Cowbell in 125' on one of my favorite weigh points. Here is the photo of Jimmyi with the beast. Retrieving it is not an issue. I have never tangled a diver with a copper on retrieval. It has always been on deployment.

Let the copper out SSSLLLLOOOWWW. Once it is out, let it settle before deploying it to the board.
