  1. I heard a guy was bragging about catching pike in Conesus and dumping them in Honeoye. Everything in Honeoye is big but I do not think the pike will get huge. Honeyoe does not have enough cold water in mid summer to support slob pike.
  2. I have heard of 2 pike over 40" out of Honeoye in the last 4 years. There were pics on Iceshanty.com a couple winters ago. One was taken out of Trident and the other was taken off the North end.
  3. Sounds like broke back fishing!
  4. Are we still talking about a boat rebuild?
  5. I would think it is coming out of a rivit and traveling ddown the keel plate.
  6. You would have to order one. I do not know of any tackle places in Rochester that carries Big Jon parts.
  7. Wire is better for fleas, it achieves more depth than braid, and they say it has harmonic attributes that attract fish.
  8. Last time I checked, this section of LOU was here to sell stuff. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  9. Looking for one set of rod holders. Let me know!
  10. Bingo! If no vessel can be operated within 300' of the pier, how will boats get into the bay?
  11. What ever the speed is of the river or stream!
  12. Welcome to the club Mark.
  13. +1 Most full moon days, everyone is heading in and the bite is starting to pick up.
  14. A cowbell followed by a spin n glow along the bottom trolled at 1.0 - 1.7 mph. is the #1 combo in my boat for lakers.
  15. Only problem with that material is the gaps between the boards. Any water that gets between the bards is going to soak into your floatation foam.
  16. I use the spro swivels between the Flea flicker and the floro carbon. If you do not want to use the Spro swivels, you could tie a Uni to Uni knot.
  17. The 20lb flea flicker is a little thikcer but it wil not make that much of a difference.
