Irondequoit bay, Seneca, Sodus, or Canadigua are all good choices. The Lake Ontario bays are easier to find perch in unless you fish the other places a lot. Seneca and Canadiagua are not the easiest places to find and catch perch.

That hand crank was useless for me years ago. I had an old Mag 10 and the main shaft sheared off the drive gear. The ball went crashing to the bottom in 180 fow. It was not fun winding the spool up by hand.
I have BIg jons on Berts tracks. They are bullet proof. I had a buddy that works in a machine shop make me custom mounts for the Berts tracks. Big Jon does sell the mounts to fit in Berts tracks if you do not know someone in the machine shop business.

I measured the distance on the sidewalk in front of my house and up the street. Roll out the copper and have someone hold one end. Reel on the desired length.
