    Running them on a three is the best option. If you are trolling slower, they will go deeper and they will not go out to the side as far.

    If you are laker fishing with 2 cowbells on riggers, you shouldn't need to run divers. They do work but they can get in the way.

    A great event for these kids! They gave away 5 shotguns, 4 air rifles and a ton of turkey gear for these kids!

    My son was lucky enough to get into the NYSDEC youth mentor turkey hunt this weekend. This morning, he connected on his first bird ever! A huge thank you to our guide JT for putting us on this bird. Anyone with a kid that is a youth hunter, look into this program! The DEC, sponsors and volunteers do a great job putting this on. Next year I will be sponsoring this event!

    You too Mike. Brown fishing is my favorite. Nothing like deck clearing fire drills with jumbo browns. We usually spend only two or three days banging up the browns in July before switching gears back to kings.

    I'll give up a trip or two of good king fishing for brown fishing in Early July any day. There is plenty of time to king fish!

    Compare the LOC leaderboards from Spring to Summer to Fall. The summer LOC is LOADED with jumbo browns EVERY year. The spring and fall boards are not consistent. I will say it again, July is the best time for numbers and size.
