  1. Go w/ the 15's. I've been using them all year in all coditions and they have been flawless. I put them on my outside riggers in my 5 rigger spread w/ no issues. I weighed them and mine are pushing 16#'s a piece
  2. Yeck Lures has agreed to donate a couple dozen lures and some shirts for this year. This kind of just fell into my lap today and they could be more involved for next years tourny also. Just to add on Keiths statement about non-fishermen and food. Please feel free to invite family and or freinds to the weigh-in. The more people, the better the atmosphere. Just purchase the extra tickets for food/drink.
  3. Holy crap! Awesome job Keith said his plan on sunday is to fill up and run down there! lol.
  4. Good luck with your difficulties. I do think the inside will lite up by the weekend.
  5. Well this is the last week before the tourny and so far everyone is pumped! Their are at least a few teams waiting till mid week to check the weekend weather, so I have a feeling we should have a great turn out for tournament. Check back later in the week for any final details for Sunday. I am also working on a cup trophy that we can add team names to every year. 6. Started the day running down east of watoma and fishing to Braddocks looking for a Brown to put on the Orleans board. Fished 15'-30' for a couple hours and picked up just one small brownie. Then turned north to the 100'-160' area and headed back west looking for a good King. We took a couple small ones out there. We then put the chicken rigs down to find a laker to put on the board. Eventhough we marked a bunch of them, they didn't want to cooperate either. Still lots of cold water. The guys that went to over 500fow did fair to good on a mix bag of fish. I'll be out friday thru sunday this next week to do a bunch of derby and tourny fishing and it can't get here fast enough! Good luck
  7. As we get closer, here are just a couple reminders: 1. Bring your own beer 2. I don't want to see anyone disqualified, so please, please, please DON'T BRING MORE THAN 3 FISH TO THE WEIGH-IN AND DON'T SHOW UP AFTER 2:30PM. If everyone tries to get to the weigh-in by 2pm we'll be all set. Everyone please print out the rules and take them with you and if their are any questions on tourny day, just call one of us. Better be safe than sorry. Jeff, your all set. I just added you to the list and thank you.

  9. Nice Mike! We saw some decent fish down deep on an outside turn but decided to keep trying to pound a big brownie for the last hour. Ill post the leader board if I get a chance tonight. [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  10. Glad to see you guys will be back out again. Not sure about the kings yet. Some reason I'm getting a bad feeling about the quantity not the quality. May have to start running soon 8 miles east or west to get better #'s. The offshore bite has been horrible for a week now too.
  11. Sat. we started in about 100fow and headed north till we stopped at 350fow and then picked up to run in for some inside fishing. We only did one skippy on the way out. On the inside we fished about 80fow from 9am-noon and took 10 browns, 3 skippy's and about a 10# king. Most came from 60-75' down DW nbk ss and the new R & R lemon/lime razor frogs. The new Razor's are extremely light and we were able to get down to that 1.6-1.8 down speed that those fish seemed to want. No big Browns in the mix. We did have a big king that hit an nbk stinger on the wire but it decided to rip the hook off the split ring. Sunday we stayed in that 75-85' area trolling east to the can and managed about 10 fish that were all small. Biggest was about a 6# Brown. Tougher bite today. That south wind made it pretty hard to keep the spread straight and hold depth. Same lures as yesterday except we did get a couple on mags. Good Luck.

  16. Had a half day trip this morning and it was dink city again. Ended up w/ about 20 fish, but we did manage a 22# and 26# kings. Fished mostly 130-150fow and 50-65' down. The only dipsey to fire a few times was @ 180' out w/ a live wire spindoctor and no see-um Fox fly. The best rigger spoons were Stingrays w/ anything green on them. Temp was about 44 deg down 65'. Back out again tomorrow afternoon. Good luck.
  17. We know you would fish this tourny, but with 4 of us putting it together, our schedules and the 22nd being the only open date at the club for the weigh-in, this is why the date is what it is. We couldn't worry about another tourny that we might lose 1 or 2 boats to. Someone will be disappointed no matter what date it is. Good luck [ Post made via Mobile Device ]
  18. We are going to see how this pans out the next year or two before we decide if it gets expanded. This is our first go around with putting a tourny together and we want to see how well it goes first. Thank you, Scott
  19. Yeah, I was out voted. We now have R & R as a sponsor. All teams that come to the weigh-in will receive R & R products. You MUST come to the weigh-in to receive these products.
