Biggest problem I’ve found is people that back onto the ramp and THEN start getting boat ready to launch. Pull to the side , ready your vessel and THEN get in line to launch Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Maybe that will be a learning experience on how to back a trailer. I’ve watched some really entertaining trailer backing. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Emperor Cuomo already took the towns and villages out of the equation by establishing the committee to determine where solar and wind farms will be located. His statement , and I quote “ then state , not the townships , will determine where sustainable energy will be located “. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Whichever app you use , add a foot to the predicted height. If it’s calling for 1-3 , figure 2-4. Been fishing Lake O for a lot of years and have yet to find a dependable forecast. I’ve sat at the launch watching the 1-3 waves crashing over the break wall. What you see when you get to the lake , is what you get Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

Over the winter I decided to do preventive maintenance on the “ Bonum Vitae “. I ordered a gimbal service kit for my Alpha 1 I had this week off so I got to work. Replaced gimbal bearing , all bellows , u-joints etc. what a pain in the azz. It’s done and I’d rather do it now than in July. But there was no issues and I will NEVER do it again. They are doing everything in their power to bypass the ability of local governments to stop offshore wind farms there is too much money at stake for these developers to allow such things as property value , sport fishing , environmental impacts , etc. to stand in the way of profit Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

There are probably a few old timers that remember the original Rhys-Davis cut bait I am a rabid cut bait ( meat) fisherman. I found this article interesting, hope you do too. The introduction of VHS spelled the end of the RD herring strips in the US. Rhys would not change his method of preparation. RD has been bought by Delta-Gibbs and I find that no good comes from this merger No other cut bait made since can come near the quality of the RD strips. I mourn the passing of this product every year https://www.bcoutdoorsmagazine.com/herring-strip-the-forgotten-bait/ Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United

I bought my GLS22 in January of 2019 hadn’t been run in 8 years. Took the owners word it had been winterized. Took a BIG gamble But I bought it right. Could have parted it out and got my money back. Turned out to be a great buy. Took some TLC to get it up and running. But it’s been a great boat Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
