For numbers of Browns I would say Oswego-Mexico Bay area.

I learned this from an old charter captain, put a small snap on the snap swivel, this will give the lure more action and still be easy to remove lure.

I loved the "Buck" back in the 70's. My mom would drop us off b4 I could drive. My biggest pike came out of there. We used to be the 1st ones on the ice spudding our way across the pond. Ahh the good old days. No shelters. Out there in the wind, snow, and rain. Now if the temp is under 30 I close the fish trap and turn on the heater. Oh well. Go Steelers.

I go to Costanza every year with no complaints but I am trying some Jalapeno dogs at Grizzly's in Hunt,NY. A buddy of mine gets dogs and sausage there every year. I'll let ya know how they are.

I was out there yesterday for a little while and not too much was goin on. I saw a few decent ones caught but not a lot at least for me.

Brian is right. Last year I took the boy out for one last boat ride in late Oct. and a boat was out with fishin with boards. They came in when we did and had a good bunch of nice Browns. I am gonna try it once or twice myself if we ever get a weekend without 20-30 mph winds.

Congrats on the nice kings. We were out of Sandy yesterday also and we got a few decent browns but no kings. We didn't want to fish the river on a Sat. cause we thought it would be a zoo.

Thanx 4 the report Motoman. We were out there out of Braddocks, plugging away 100-200 with only a skip to show for it. We then ran to 300 and reset and found some good bait and fish around 425. We got a couple decent steelies and a small king. Nice morning to be out, first trip in my boat in quite a while. There were quite a few boats 500-600. Hopefully the big boys show up at some point.

Either should be good depending on what happens with this east wind. As of the weekend it was pretty good Sodus and east. You should be able to get into a few at either spot. Look at some of the past reports. Good luck
