Went out this morning with my buddy Barry Haywood and fished at 8 a.m. in east of I-Bay.
Found decent green water between 140 andn 180 FOW today. The west wind along with SW wind seem to have pushed this same emerald green water that has been hanging around Braddocks bay since last weekend.
Set up includes two riggers parked at 65' & 90' with spoon and sushi fly along with 400' copper. 10 color core did not produce any hits this morning.
Went 4 for 4. All kings. Biggest was 23#, then just under 20#. Both took hits on Bob Fuller KOS spoon. Two smaller kings took sushi fly and 400' copper with NK monkey puke.
The lake became bumpy after the north front blew through the clouds. Headed back in by noon.
Good luck and safe fishing!
Welcome to the site! Nice picture with your first post!
Was that photo taken east of I bay?
Looking forward to your future reports. This is what makes LOU a special place for all anglers recreation and professionally.

I thought it would be neat to share your derby photos for the summer LOC.
I will start with Barry Haywood's Lake Trout 19.14#. This fish took NK MAG Nuclear Purple on 400' copper east of I-Bay.
Good luck to all and safe fishing!

What a way to start the day! With all of the noises, thank goodness Barry couldn't hear any of these foul words.
Also, look at the bright side, Barry did not lose his sunglasses this time!
Tight lines!
Thanks for the good report. It has been slow fishing for us as well.
Enjoyed watching your beauty of a boat riding on the water with the flags off the outrigger. I am glad you still have her!
