  1. Welcome aboard Captain Vince! I bow to you!
  2. Tim and Jeff: I agree that this type of set up should only be limited to holding the rods. Simple as that. Heres a sister photo of this boat. I have rod holders at the stern for a single copper set up. There are four rod holders just in the back of the stern and before the outboard motor. Overall plan - I will add a heavy duty low profile dipsey dual rod holders on port and starboard for the diver set up. http://www.greatlakesplaners.com/index.htm. Word to wise to those who have rail mount clamp on rod holders: I have lost a copper set up and net by relying on this darn rail mount rod holders. If I had invested into low profile dual rod holders, I would have saved myself plenty of greenbacks. Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. I have a 21' wellcraft and I would like to hear about your opinions about the bimini top rocket launcher for soft top. I came across this site and I thought this is something I could add to my boat. This is just for $150 with free shipping. I thought this would be a great alternative and yet inexpensive. Tight lines.
  4. This club is so full of it. So much marketing and very little to back it up. My subscription to Great Lake Anglers is worth every dollar! Also, we must not forget to endorse our LOU site by joinining LOU pro for just $20 a year. This is one of my best investment to get as much as I can about learning to fish in big O.
  5. I love the wellcrafts. V-20's are very seaworthy boat. Im a proud owner of v-20 and v-21. Best of luck.
  6. Happy Birthday Tom Kudos to all of the great things mentioned above. Your contribution has helped many LOU members. Thanks for all you do.
  7. Holy Cow! Thanks for sharing, Paul.
  8. Please PM me if you re looking to get a good deal on your used heavy duty triple/quad rod holders. Thanks.
  9. Rick, Thanks for sharing a very positive news with the gang about your Dad's good progress. Tight lines.

  11. I was not sure where to post this and I thought this would be a good starting point. In case you came across great deals such as Christmas sale on fishing equipment, please help the fellow LOU members save money by posting a link. For example, I have not had any success finding hot deals on Daiwa Sealine 47LC and I found a $20 coupon on orders over $100 at Cabela's. Good for until 12/16/09. Here is a link for those who want to take advantage of the $20 coupon: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/conte ... tid=121466 This is very similar to the forum as found on FatWallet.com. More money saved could translate to buying more lures for less!
  12. Im very glad to hear about your Dad's good progress. One day at a time. God Bless!
  13. Rick, Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family for your Dad's speedy recovery. Anthony
  14. WTG! Thanks for sharing great pictures.
  15. Ahoy Rolmops, I wanted to say thank you for taking us out last Sunday. The weather could not be better. Yet, no pike on a sunny day does not make anybody happy! We got to head out again during cloudy day or even better closer to the last light. I look forward to fishing out with you again soon. tight lines. Anthony
  16. I wish I have something to offer however I went out with Rolmops and we did not find pike in Irondequoit Bay last Sunday. Best of luck with your buddy from Ga.
  17. Awesome, Tom! Thanks for putting together a great story from your wits.
  18. Rolmops, You got a PM. Anthony
  19. Wow, what a beauty! Congratulations. Is this a Grady or Wellcraft? I have V21 Wellcraft and the set up is very similar except for your large space. I have a baitwell that I never use and I use this as an extra storage space. I only run two riggers on the corners and I will add a third one to run just the probe only. Do you plan to add a trolling motor? Due to the large platform space and little access to the trolling motor, I included electric tiller so that I can operate it without having to manually lift it up and down every time I troll. Best of luck on catching many many fish on her
  20. I was out there fishing Saturday and Sunday. I am very glad to know you were helped out by the IBay folks. Thank to the good Lord for making sure you got back to shore safely.
  21. Beautiful fish! Thanks for sharing.
  22. Ditto to YT as he knows his stuff. Spoons: Black and silver Evil Eyes. This spoon has consistenly brought big steelhead to my boat. NK Green Dolphin Stickbait: Orange J-12 rapala
  23. Enjoy your Birthday, Rod!
