  1. was talking about the whole herring... i did brine some of the Familair Bite Alwives also.. put a nice shine to them and held up lil better i thought

  4. no its not brined.. i tried to run it right outta the package and the bait tore apart... brined 4doz and havent had a problem yet

  6. that water changed alot since yest Tim... we had 46degree water down 60 yest in front of the plant... 100-130fow was good yest .. lots of bait in there.. and the rods were movin!... slow pick today at the Bar

  9. hope things pick up for you guys down there.. there is def NOT a lack of fish in the lake.. the west end has been VERY good and producing some big fish.. didnt have any problems finding the kings down here this weekend!

  14. http://www.atommiktrollingflies.com/trolling_fly.htm link for the Torpedos... i do have a 15lb Shark on the boat i bought for my probe rigger.. it has yet to see the water.. been fishing with the 13lb torpedo on the probe and depths down to 115 last weekend .. blowback wasnt bad... as for sharks attracting fish? well ... who knows

Olcott continues to be good for us.. fishing was slow for us in the morning only had 3 fish by 9:30 .. and then we found them and tuned them up pretty good .. ended up with 17 fish total in the boat by 1:30.. with a good mixed bag of fish and plenty of solid kings in the mix! worked the 85-115fow temp 41 degrees down 66ft... wire divers out 125-140 with Green Protroll E-chip w/ Atommik TG fly, Innovator spindoc w/ Atommik B-Fly... riggers parked at 66 and 53.. Carmel dolphin spindoc w/Atommik Fried Bacon fly on the deep rigger did the damage for the riggers.. various spoons on the other.. DW 42nd, DW Getterdun, DW grapepicker, NK Area 51, NK Orange crush... etc... 250&300ft sections of copper were also good with the biggest fish of the day takin a 3-fly whole hearing meat rig on the 300 copper.. ran various other spindoc and flys on the coppers.. Livewire spindoc w/Atommik Proam fly also takin fish
  24. most guys run 50lb floro on there fly leaders.. gives the fly alil more action compared to 30lb
