    There is 2 choices: Navionics+ pre-loaded that include the US & Canadian waters without the sonarchart. If you want it you have to download it for the region or water you fish. If the water you fish is cover on the regional Platinium then you can get the Platinium that offer sonarchart already on the card. I'm including some links that you should take a look to get a better view of what you should get. On the webapp when you activate the blue icon on the bottom left on the page that will give you a view of sonarchar (it's 1ft contour lines instead of 3'ft) very useful for fishing.     This is a complete unit almost never use. Comes with a brand new 83/200 ducer and a new LSS-2 transducer,power cable is also new. Price is: $1900 or $1700 if you don't need the LSS-2 transducer

    Some examples with the Platinium 648 on lake Ontario Youre transparency is set to Max should be between 3 & 5, no 3D, Land & Sea. I don't have my unit with me

    Is it the Platinium East region? I think you are zoom in way too much to get the benefit of the 3D. Once you tell me where you are I will try to post some sttings from my Touch. There is some regions that are not terrible on the Platinium like up here in Canada.
