  1. Check this out http://www.bbb.org/blog/2012/09/sure-this-website-has-great-deals-but-is-the-company-reputable/ If you read the website they mention "white glove service". This BBB complaint mentiones that about a few websites with similar names. I would certainly stay away.
  2. It sounds too good to be true. I had to look. Also saw a Yamaha T9.9XPA which was interesting. I purchased one last year from a local dealer in Pa for $2700. Looking at the pics, that is exactly the way it came, in a large styrofoam case with a cardboard box over it all. Has anyone bought anything from this site and is it OK?? That 50 Yamaha sure looks good. I have had my thoughts on a F70LA to repower a 17.5 Sea Nymph I use for bass and Walleye. That cost is $7900 from my dealer. $1500 sure sounds better to live with 20 hp less.
  3. I have a 1993 GLS 175 (not a center console). Would they work ? The tags say 175.
  4. The kind of pics to look at during the winter. I will be starting a two week vacation on the pond this Sat. Cant wait
  5. Boat is sold. At this time i have a verbal commitment. I will contact if things go south. Len
  6. When I get back there this weekend, i will check to see if any info is attached to them.
  7. John: Actually bought the covers on-line last year. I had been looking for for a while but nothing seemed to match the size. I was persistant and came across the company during a search. Unfortunately, I wouldnt remember the company name. I think the covers were about $150. Len

  10. I have been doing well on bass and northern pike in Sandy Pond lately.
  11. Sat morning zigged and zagged from 15 ft to 40 ft from the Little Salmon to the south dunes. Very muddy water by the Salmon river. High 50 degree water. Tried everything. Trolled back 60 to 80 ft. Total catch 1 perch on a J9 Rapala. Never caught a perch trolling before. Going deep this weekend for sure.
  12. there is no public launch on Sandy Pond. You will need to launch at North Sandy Pond marina or Reiters (Route 3) or Goodnoughs(route 3). If you will be going out onto the lake and are not familiar, the channel is low and hazardous. I would recommend launching at the State Launch at Mexico.
  13. I did that type trip through the Devils Hole a few times with Capt Joe Cinelli many years ago. Did it a few times without the charter in my 17 1/2 ft Sea Nymph / 115 Johnson after that. Was lots of fun and very interesting. It is kind of far now. I do miss the action.
  14. I was coming home from a business trip in Cleveland, Ohio on 80 east. I must have passed 1000 Power Company Line trucks coming east from as far west as Missouri. I guess they feel this is "The Big One"
  15. I thought that was a bit high for a 2008. I had been looking and just ordered a new 2013 T9.9XPA from a dealer near home in Pa for $2900 which i thought was very reasonable. The T9.9XPA is a 25 in shaft and must be setup for remote control (no tiller). I had not been able to find that price anywhere in the US or online. Great deal.
  16. Does it have power tilt and what is the shaft length?
  17. I am working on a probe detector/retriever. Anyone interested in financing the project ?????
  18. Boat was sold on Friday by the first person to see it.
  19. Boat is owned by a friend of mine who is the second owner. He has had it for two seasons. He bought it from a widow of the origional owner who used it on the finger lakes at their cottage. It is for sale because my friend and I have just purchased a SportCraft 272. The Penn Yan runs like a top. I will be selling my Sport Craft 230 Fisherman in the spring. I will take some Penn Yan Pics this weekend and post monday. The boat was pulled out on sunday and is sitting at Mike's Marina if you are interested. Len
