Thanks for the kind words Cornelius! It was a pleasure to have you! I liked all the teams very much last year when i was an observer myself, and learned a TON! Glenn is a really good Captain and a really, really good teacher!

We thought we were in the money at one point Monday AM. Lead core takes a hit in shallow water and Nick jumps on the rod. He can't gain much but it starts to come in just a little. Huge bend in the rod and its staying down. OH boy I'm thinking we got a good bow or brown on. Nick feels what seems like a little head shaking. I'm getting excited now so I grab the net even though we are still 200 feet out or more. Finally he gains enough and it comes up so we can get a look. WOW a 50+ inch...... stick but hey it prolly weighed 15 lbs did we take first??? LOL we had a good chuckle about that one.

That was awesome to hear on the radio...."YATZEE" It may have to be my new catch phrase instead of "Fish On"! Congrats man!

bad habit

hit a marshy area late and was rewarded with a nice pig of a bass. They are really aggresive right now around here coming in from 10 feet away to destroy a topwater bait.

...after a couple of hours with some small to medium guys, right at sunset he finally hits! It was a great fight through some weeds and a few really nice jumps! 19 inches on the tape, can only guesstimate weight at 4 lbs give or take. Made my night for sure and I left smilin'

Actually I'm glad you couldn't catch them all! That means there will be some left (hopefully) when we fish the Pro-Am. BTW Glen did you ever get into the website to enter for the tourney?
