I was thinking 140ish FOW might be the ticket too, until temps start to stabilize and be more normal. It's anyone's guess lately. That was some great fishing last year Matt!

By the sounds of it, fishing around Henderson and Sackets Harbor was a bust, not good. Either that, or someone found the fish and they're not talking. Crickets...

I saw 2 waterspouts in the Gulf of Mexico back in the 90's. We were anchored more than 20 miles off the Texas coast and it was sunny where we were. The storm was moving away from us, gladly, because it takes a long time to pull in that much anchor line. I don't care to ever see one again.

Video of Waterspout on Lake Ontario Someone braved the elements and the forecast for waterspouts today, and they ventured out to fish and captured a video of a waterspout out of Henderson Harbor. This is NOT me on the water, and I don't know who this guy is. I hope they make it back to the dock safely.

I don't know of any free public fish cleaning station in Henderson. That doesn't mean that there isn't one, but I don't know of one. Henchen's Marina charges a fee for their guys to fillet your fish. I don't know what their rates are.

Thanks skipper19. A 7" is all I've ever used too, because that's all the local stores sell. The last knife I bought has worked well all year, it's a 7" KVD.

What Fillet Knife Do You Use On Large Salmon/Trout? I'm curious to hear what fillet knives everyone uses on their large fish. A 7" fillet knife is ok for smaller fish but on bigger fish they just don't seem to "cut" it. List which knife you use, whether it is electric or not. Thanks for your feedback!

I think there is a much bigger issue than "right of way". Electronic warfare is a bigger deal than ever, especially when you consider the complex electronic systems used by navy ships. I think these tankers we're trying to sink these ships, and might have had the capability to disable these 2 destroyers. But the Navy and our government will never admit to us or the world that a tanker disabled our billion dollar ships. They would rather blame the crews than face that kind of international embarrassment. In my mind these are acts of terror, and the injured/dead sailors should be awarded Purple Hearts. But that's just my opinion...

Their web site says they will dive 10-20ft. I sometimes use one on a flat line because I don't run copper or lead core. They don't publish a dive chart for the mini's.

Welcome to the forum, and thanks for sharing the cool video. I was waiting for those bait fish to mimic the ones in Finding Nemo, and form into an arrow to point you in the "right" direction . My son told me it was based on a true story, but he was real young back then.
