  12. i'm not sure but i do beleive that they are gruby yes.... proper cooking = great eating w/no worries
  13. anything is possible but they have headed for their summer grounds i think
  14. you will probably be in 20-30 fow mayby deeper... i think i'd start with a couple rip sticks and a couple deep divers.... watch your sonar and see where the consistent marks are and fine tune after that there will probably be a few boats working that area to get you in right area but from calf island head south toward the stack you can see in oswego after you get out a bit you will see a green bouy... that should be a good place to start... if the eyes arent there you could turn west and troll up in front of the galoo's 40-60 fow for browns and then check the shoals around big galoo for the eyes dont know what you got for a boat but if you head to galoo be sure to check weather/wind report.... its a long 15 miles if a storm blows up....lol on the north side of stony island there is a red bouy with a decent shoal... possibly some eyes around there....if you get there watch your depth as you get between stony and calf islands; can get shallow in spots
  15. perch should be in henderson harbor/// outside association island near lime barrel shoal eyes i would look out off calf island spit area or out at galoo shoals browns in the trench lakers out deep or in shipping lanes.... mayby a king mixed in also
  16. Glen i didnt mean to start such a bunch of BS but guess i should have expected it ( i;m sorry ) When the time comes that i have your reputation on the tourny trail mayby i will dictate more BUT until then i need all the help i can get....LOL todd
  17. bigweeniebrand.com has all you need
  18. richard i'm afraid i have to disagree with you mayby on a charter boat situation the capt is in full comand as it is his decisions that put food on the table for his family however: if a guy puts a team of friends together for a pro-am he is sure of the ability of those friends and would be willing to listen to each member and make a group judgement on the spread to run as each has an equal stake as far as researching a team to observe for.... usually you agree to observe to help out a friend and you dont know the boat you will be placed on until the capt's meeting the night before the derby if a group of guys cant fish for 2-days w/o ill feelings they better get there own boats or take up golfing respectfully... todd
  19. Hi tom just a couple thoughts for next year The online sign-up will be good but mayby you could involve a local sport shop ( screwy louies//// fat nancy's ) both now in oswego as they are open into the evening hours Possibly involve the ports in JEFFERSON county as well... even if it only gets a couple boats just throwing my thoughts out there todd
