most days you can fish oswego harbor even if you cant get out on the lake little farther north henderson harbor may be an option

laker fishing is ok on east end in spring

launch at stony creek go out the creek turn south along the shoreline stickbaits in black/silver....black/gold....variety of greens spoons in green combos........ blue/silver.. rainbow colors i'm up there quite a bit give me a shout on CH 68

fished over by hog nose point on fri/sat/sun got 9 pike biggest about 23"...... few perch being caught but mostly small

run the copper down the shute........ i run it out last BUT make sure your driver stays straight or tangle city

sat on the ice today looking at my 5 tip-ups AND 2 handlines wondering why i can run 7 lines on the ice BUT only 2 on the lake in my boat........... TYPICAL political correctness ?????

fished from 11 til 3 out in front of the elms got a late start as i had to reline my tip-ups since it been 5 yrs since i last used them there was 4 in. of snow then 3 in. of slush then a good 8 in. of ice had 1 flag and got 1 perch about 8 inches lot of guys fishing all over the pond.ones i talked to were getting a few perch ( looked like mostly 4-5 inchers)

the boat i bought last year came with a LOWRANCE LCX25c sonar/gps unit....... the second trip out the GPS quit working screen said GPS module not responding......... i unhooked and rehooked all wires even dismounted the module from the bow of the boat to disconnect the extension cable....nothing helped tried to order a new module ( LGC2000 ) was backordered 3 times then was told this model was discontinued BUT could use a newer model (LGC4000 ) with an adapter cable module is $250.00 cable $35.00 MY question is does this happen often? just wondering if i should go with the new module or get one of the newer units with the internal ant. thanks for your input

i have only observed in 1 pro-am....oswego in 09...... we are planning on fishing the open div this year......... i've been watching this thread for awhile and dont really understand what difference it makes if a couple boats wanna talk to each other....... we are gonna fish just because we enjoy being on the water and MAYBY will have a chance to make a little money while doing what we gonna be doing anyway...... everybody is gonna talk at night anyway ( weather they give up secrets then is their buisiness ) anyway it just seems to me there is a lot of arguing over something that isnt a big deal

join the open division blugill....help promote that part of it....no observer needed......... fish longer ( at night if wanted) fisn any port ( as long as u make weigh-ins by noon....... ONLY 3 fish needed

i was an observer for team L.O.U.S.E.R.S last year in the oswego pro-am ( 1st time i ever had any thing to do with them ) this year we are gonna participate in the open division in oswego and perhaps sodus ( depending on work ) perhaps you could do something special for the youths involved ( under 16 ) ..... mayby there arent very many BUT i know if i enter a derby somewhere my daughter will be involved

i feel it should include out of staters as they are willing to help our economy.....so three rods might send them home happy and willing to return

3 rods would give a better chance to present different baits/lures/colors on those finicky days when there is a tough bite going on after spending the money to buy our licenses.... boats.....tackle....fuel......we should be allowed every possibility to catch fish

this is probably another one of those ford/chevy questions is there a big difference between whole or cut bait or the pesentation of them?? also has anybody here tried the fake bait such as the baitrix baits thanks for your input

on our end of the lake stick with basic green/white colors early spring browns mix in a little gold or yellow also give me a shout in the spring and you can tag along with me a couple times... i'll give ya the basics to get ya going in the right direction

i think it depends on the judge last i saw i think was like $150.00 plus court chrg

smoke-less powder.......... inlines......conical bullets AINT muzzle loading get a percussion or a flint lock and enjoy the real thing i shoot a lyman 54 cal percussion 100 grains of powder and patched round ball...deadly accurate to 100 yds
