She was a school teacher and they are nice people, but picky about thier company. Bring your own bedding. She does not supply sheets or pillows! Good Luck.

  11. All right guess I got to invest in some lead core line on dedicated reels for walleye trolling. Not the answer I wanted but thanks for the info guys. I love this stie!!

  14. Welcome to Lou Tony! Glad to have a native Chautauqua guy here! We have a small gathering of musky guys here but some are very accompilished!! Others like myself are not so good but getting better. I hope you find good info here and Welcome aboard!
  15. So we were at Conesus jigging for walleyes last week. And had no luck finding any nice eyes! Do we have to fish after dark? Are guys trolling or casting? Any help here would be cool! The trip wasn't a total loss though. Look at this monster bass Wendy caught on her Pink Pflueger spooled with 8lb mono! She will be mad at me because of the bad hair day....... But look at the fish. 20" 14.5" girth my scale reald only 4.3lbs but I think it was more. Foiled by the pink pfuleger again!
  16. Who you callin goofy? I resemble that remark!
  17. Cool, sounds like we will have a nice turnout this year! Will you fish this one Larry?

    I-bay

Nice report FreeMan! Sure glad to get one from I bay. The fishing there has been tough. I have only managed one eye in 2yrs! I do ok with the bass there but the recreational traffic is so bad there, I hate going in the summer! We do pretty good in the fall for Pike with my best from I bay being 36". Sure would like to get on the eyes though. On the other subject I launch at Mayers and they are good people. the parking is tight (10 trailers) sometimes we have to park down the road. If you are going out at night I would consider talking to them because as said they are nice peeps and I bet you could work a deal. I feel your frustration. We pay our taxes (like it or not) and should have a state launch like sodus or coneseus! I refuse to go to the town launch after the last rate hike and the folks there are a bit snotty anyway! Good luck and keep us up on the eyes!!!!
  19. Not sure of other options. Sure you can get good advice at the Happy Hooker! Good luck!
  20. Great report Dave. I have only managed 2 walleye this year myself. The 1st on Coneseus I had to let go it was one week before the opener! The other was on the canal in Macedon. I caught a 7lber there last year but have not done so well this year. I know of a coulple of guys that are keeping everything they catch there and I wonder if that has anything to do with it???????? Anyway thanks for the report. As always Good Luck!
  21. Well I hope you are right Nitro. However we have at least one confirmed case of catch n cook on Waneta and not due to a bad hooking or anything other than the simple "want to eat them attitude"! It is within the law to do so. However if we don't say NO GOOD who will? So I say to the guys who want to eat Muskies- Please don't, go catch some pike or walleye to eat! Thay are easy to catch and way good!
  22. When I was there in june they were killing giant largemouth in the southern basin. They say it is a great Bass lake. I just cant see myself going all that way to catch bass when there are MUSKY!! I would recommend going down to the Happy Hooker for advice. Nice people there and tell them you are a LOU member. You might get a little favoritism!! Good Luck
