  1. Thanks for posting NM, glad we finnaly got this one moving. I dont know if Sol can make it so I will bring my grill and Burgers. I look forward to meeting some we have not met yet. I too am very sorry to see the season come to a close. I hope we make the best of this outing. See you there and good luck to all who come.
  2. Wow thats one nice hawg. Fish of a lifetime......Congrats!!
  3. Sure are some hogs, Way to go, you da man.
  4. Thats my B-day count me in lets make it a formal post Nitro with start time. Maybe first annual LOU musky outing / tourney?
  5. Another fine piece of work Chad! Thanks for the report, we opted out of even getting on the water saturday due to those winds, Im sure it was horrendus on that lake! You in for the 30th at the Harbor?
  6. There is a launch in Macedon down the dirt road in front of the fire dept. off rt. 350. It can be difficult for a solo launch because of the 10mph current in the creek there. But nice launch, plenty of parking. Head west up the canal to the bridge at Wayneport rd. Then work the dropoff on the south side back east all the back to the thin water. Spoons spinners and cranks have all produceed for us in that section. It can be hot I have caught Smallies Pike Walleye and Largemouth all in the same day there! Smallies mostly around the bridge. West of the brige in front of the bull rushes can be good for pike too! Good Luck.
  7. I will definatly volenteer my boat and limited experience as well. It would be an honor to me! Musky Mission Possible
  8. Nice report Chad. Got me excited too. Congrats on that nice buck Zach. Sorry about your luck Nitro that Lake can be BRUTAL! I vote for the Harbor LOU outing. I beleve the chances for a big fish are much better there even though I have zero experience there. Have to start somewhere I guess. There is a NMA tourney there on the 15th maybe we could incorperate with that. We would have to join the NMA though and its like $25 for balance of the year plus tourney fee. But lot of good musky guys and good chance for a HAWG.
  9. Nice Fish Thanks for the pic's. Solgrande does his pic's solo too. Glad I dont have to try that.
  10. We used it in mid November last year.
  11. Yeah Come on you say 44 and no PIC?????????? Tease.......
  12. I wish I could go. Gotta work again. Got money now but no time. Whoever invented this system should be shot. Good Luck Nitro!
  13. Hello Eric If you havent already call the Happy Hooker down there and talk to Brian. He is a great guy and a walleye fisherman. Tell him you are a LOU member for the inside scoop. Good Luck on your trip. Be sure to post your pic's for us to drool on. http://www.happyhookerbaitshop.com/
  14. Very hard to tell from the photo Adam. There are a lot of Musky Pic's around here. If you have the original You would be the best judge of wether it is a musky.
  15. I thought that was your rig in the lot. Were you on the north end around 1:30? We were the Blue Boat in the middle. I was going to come over but I could tell you were getting ready to hit it!
  16. Caught 2 decent pike on sunday also in 10-12 fow. Large safety pin style spinnerbait. Wendy had something big boil on her bait, could have been a tiger but we will never know! Though lake to fish, we are starting to find some better flats to fish. the 30ft drops are killer.
  17. Great Story. Thanks for sharing it with us Bob. God Bless all you Vets!
  18. Good Luck guys, can't go gotta work! Feast or Famine you know. All summer on 4 day weeks, now straight to 6 days. I'll take it though. Got to pay for all the lures and trips.
  19. There are a lot of arguments about the photoshop doctoring of this photo. However the Photographer is a very reputable guy, and as Nitro said the fish was certified. I do agree that something seems wrong with the pic. Still it is a state record 50lb Musky. S0 NICE fish anyway you slice it!!
  20. Yeah trolling 3-3.5mph 100ft on line out 20-40 fow. Interesting that after running the 20ft contour for a bit we strolled out into depper water and found a lot action on the finder and hooked one of the pike. suprised to find one so small in the deep water. Man I had some BIG hooks on the finder. Pike or Tigers they were big. We did do some casting up on the North end but no action. Saw 1 other boat up there not doing anything either.
  21. Wendy went 2 for 2 on the Pike today at conesus both 25", redhorse Tuff Shad, me got skunked Ohh well I been warned about teaching her to fish. Lots of bait south from the Conesus Inn and down.
  22. Way to go on the pike Gambler. Anyone have a good program for the tigers on conesus so far all we have heard about is the random fish. Have not heard of anyone sucessfully targeting them!
