  8. Only thing I would add is I'm not sure what the water levels are like right now...so, it might be borderline. I noticed this past week the levels in the lake seemed lower than in the previous few weeks...that's the only thing.
  9. It's not a concrete ramp....just gravel and dirt, but it is very deep, so you should be fine. I've seen boats of your size launched out of there. Mexico is a better launch hands down though.
  10. Thought he was talking about using them in the river....should have read his original post. My bad. Regs I pasted apply to the river itself [ Post made via iPhone ]
  11. could you be more specific then that? "we don't use trebles", So you say jigging the Salmon with a jig bearing a single hook, no gap wider than 1/2 inch, is perfectly legal, right? Not perfectly legal....has to be less than 1/8 oz. and have a gap of no larger than 1/2 inch and have some kind of feather or something on it to classify it as a "fly"....regs regarding hooks pasted below. Hooks •Hooks attached to any lure, except an artificial fly must be free-swinging. •Hooks may have a gap (distance between the shank and the point) of no more than one half inch. •Use of hooks with added weight is prohibited, except that artificial flies with no more than one-eighth ounce of added weight may be used. For the purposes of this regulation, the method by which weight is added to a hook does not affect classification as an "artificial fly" provided the conditions of the definition of an "artificial fly" are otherwise met. •Only one hook with a single hook point is permitted, except that floating lures may have multiple hooks including double and treble hooks only as permitted below.
  12. Assorted trolling flies...most are in like new condition a couple are barely used, and one looks chewed on a little. Most G-fly's with at least one A-Tom-Mik body and one that looks like a Howie fly body. 7 rigged with full length leaders on top row, and one which has probably a 16" leader and loop, then an additional 4 bodies which are shown in the bottom row in the pic. $25 plus shipping.

  15. Either september 4th or september16th depending on whether or not Saturday's and Sunday's count towards the 30 days....that's my guess. Really I don't know officially but probably sometime in that timeframe [ Post made via iPhone ]
  16. No...the 10 day period only applies when the legislature is in session....when it is out of session the rules are different....I will paste the rules below....basically if he does not sign the bill in 30 days it is automatically vetoed since the legislature is not in session currently...if legislature is in session then failure to sign in 10 days and it becomes law. From the NYS regulations on how a bill becomes a law "While the Legislature is in session, the Governor has 10 days (not counting Sundays) to sign or veto bills passed by both houses. Signed bills become law; vetoed bills do not. However, the Governor's failure to sign or veto a bill within the 10-day period means that it becomes law automatically. Vetoed bills are returned to the house that first passed them, together with a statement of the reason for their disapproval. A vetoed bill can become law if two-thirds of the members of each house vote to override the Governor's veto. If a bill is sent to the Governor when the Legislature is out of session, the rules are a bit different. At such times, the Governor has 30 days in which to make a decision, and failure to act ("pocket veto") has the same effect as a veto."
  17. I have a pair of Church TX-44 Super Planers which are new and still in the packaging. These big in-lines are reversible and meant to pull coppers, leadcore, etc. The video on their website even shows them capable of pulling a mag dipsey or 124 deeper diver off of these in-line boards. Nice for a smaller boat or if you don't feel like messing with big boards. See video and pic below... Anyways, $55 for the pair plus shipping and they are yours, or will meet you locally in the Syracuse area to save you on the shipping costs.
  18. CDGA Troller - We did 21 fish in the boat on Saturday morning...left the water when the lightning came. Did a lot of rainbows up top...that area had a bunch of nice fish. Wife lost one that was prob a solid 8 or 9 at the back of the boat. We also lost a HUGE laker that hit a spinny and fly off a mag dipsey. As it came to the surface the mouth was as big as the ring on the mag dipsey....I ended up somehow knocking the fish off as the hooks got caught in the net bag on the scoop...totally my fault and I feel terrible about it. We had that mag dipsey firing for lakers down deep, but only had that one decent laker on all day, and couldn't get the riggers to do much at all...tried long leads, short leads, spoons, fly's everything...but just couldn't get anything consistent going for the lakers as well. Fished a slide diver up high on the other side for bows and browns along with the boards...We did a bunch of smaller lakers to about 6 pounds up top also....the real disappointment was the browns...we only got 1 all morning. Glad you guys got on the board!
  19. Here's a rainbow caught during the derby on Saturday morning....went 7+ lbs. on my boga grip...probably shoulda weighed it in Oh well....was successfully released though...
  20. I saw you when you were leaving the launch to head home on Saturday....I spotted my old mast on the front of your boat sporting a pair of big-jon reels I was pulling that big black starcraft past you as you parked on the hill....looks like you had about the same day as we had out there...started in shallow...2 for 3, then went out a little deeper...found some bait and marked a few fish, but nothing going....
  21. I have a pair of OffShore Tackle SST inlines for sale. These may have been used once...or it's possible not at all. I cannot remember using them. They are in like-new condition. Paid $30 each for them new, willing to sell the pair for $40. These are no longer in production so if you want them, better grab them now. I'm located in Baldwinsville NY. Local pick up or will ship in continental 48, but buyer to pay all shipping costs...
  22. Not willing to seperate them, but for $70 you could have the one you need plus a spare left board!
