  1. Yes - still avail. Have a couple people slated to look at it in the coming week.
  2. While you may achieve the same depth - its a PITA in my opinion...especially if trying to run them out on boards with the added weight and trying to set them with dipseys on the same side...
  3. Yes - most guys use at least 30 lb. mono if they use a snubber, and 40-50 pound mono of they aren't running snubbers.

Trailers, launches, and loads extremely easy. Just add Downrigger balls, electronics, life jackets and safety gear and you are fishing! You will not find a cleaner or better maintained used Fishmaster 2100 if you can even find one at all. Main motor oil and lower unit fluids changed each year, kicker changed every 50 hours religiously. always have run fully synthetic fluids in both after initial break in. NADA list this 2011 as being valued at over 41K for boat, main motor and trailer in average condition. I would rate this boat above average condition as there is nothing it needs mechanically and cosmetically only has a few scrapes and a couple small dings. So figure 43k firm for this boat. Boat is located in Baldwinsville NY (just west of Syracuse) PM me for more information.
  5. I have a stash of about 40 brand new 44s, and maybe 20 or so brand new 22s. Some are smooth silver, others are hammered and have a few of the silver/brass. Never fished, and still in the tissue paper wrapping. Willing to trade some for something. Same as the guy above - don't need cash. Willing to trade for some other hard to find items....let me know what you have.
  6. Back to back uni knots - no swivel needed.
  7. Same here - added 120 feet of 40 pound to the end of my 30 pound for Sunday - was better than the straight 30 pound I used Saturday, but still left a lot to be desired.
  8. Awesome - you will not be disappointed!
  9. Stupidity + alcohol = boat crashing into pier.
  10. I am considering selling mine at the end of the season. 2011 21 foot fishmaster w 200hp Yamaha 4 stroke main with around 80 hours and 9.9 hp Yamaha high thrust kicker with control king throttle control and around 350 hours. Stainless 17 pitch Tempest Plus prop pushes it around 46 MPH top end, or about 42 MPH with top up and a full load of 4 guys and gear. Can fish an 8 hour day on about 8 or 9 gallons of fuel. Galvanized double axle trailer with spare, top with side curtains, and custom made canvas for trailering or storage. Also upgraded the bilge pump to an 1100 GPH bilge and added a second 1100 GPH bilge on an auxiliary rocker switch. Washdown pump, plus tranducer board installed. Would come with Raymarine VHF radio and antenna as well. Really looking to gauge interest....in all likelihood though it will be for sale after Labor day. Not sure if I would sell it fully rigged or as stated above.
  11. Cool vid! Nice seeing kids get fish! Just my 2 cents - run your snubber off the back of the dipsey instead of ahead of it! Good job!!!!
  12. Thank you!!! Guy from my boat was leading the laker division but he can't make awards ceremony - just wanted to know if he makes it or gets bumped....Thanks! Any results after 4 would be greatly appreciated!!!
  13. Could someone post a pic of the leaderboard at the end of the day....that would be great!!! Thanks!
  14. Could someone post a pic of the leaderboard at the end of the day....that would be great!!!
  15. Let me know what you have - new or used.... PM me please. Thanks!
  16. We will be there!!! Anyone know what the hours are for Sunday? Wasn't sure what time you could start and when weigh in closes.
  17. We were out there yesterday - took a little while to get things sorted out for us. We finally found a decent screen and fish that were willing to bite. Worked the area for a while with only small fish to show for. Not much too report honestly- primarily a spoon bite for us. We ended up 15 for 17 for the day, but nothing over 6 1/2 pounds. Had a great time and a great little event. My wife spent most of the day on the wheel while myself and another guy worked the back of the boat. Early in the morning she was driving and we had boards out, and she said - "I think this guy is going to come over on us" he was outside of us and we were inside, and I said - just keep it straight and watch the boards....give him room if he needs it but don't drive the boards behind the mooring balls that are out for sailboats....she kept talking to me and at one point I glance over, but we had plenty of space (my wife tends to exaggerate at times) anyways - finally she starts freaking out a little, and I look over and there is a boat almost inside of out outside board, but in front of the board - the guy was solo and said sorry so no worries at all if he is on this board and reading this thread. I know how hard it is solo as I have done it many times...unfortunately we were pinned up against those mooring balls, so we couldn't move much. Probably should have paid a little more attention to what my wife was saying but she is pretty good on the wheel most of the time. Again a great little event and we will certainly do it again. Hoping for better results this coming weekend!!!
  18. Nice!! Sounds like something I would do. You must be an engineer. Just glancing at it you could probably get a better trendline by fitting a polynomial to it...would give you a better idea as to the weight of next year's winner if you are using the trendline for predictive measures. Pretty cool!
  19. What's wrong with back to back uni knots to connect mono and braid?
