3 ROD / PERSON...............PASSED IN BOTH HOUSES
AnglingAddict replied to lyteline's topic in Open Lake Discussion
No...the 10 day period only applies when the legislature is in session....when it is out of session the rules are different....I will paste the rules below....basically if he does not sign the bill in 30 days it is automatically vetoed since the legislature is not in session currently...if legislature is in session then failure to sign in 10 days and it becomes law. From the NYS regulations on how a bill becomes a law "While the Legislature is in session, the Governor has 10 days (not counting Sundays) to sign or veto bills passed by both houses. Signed bills become law; vetoed bills do not. However, the Governor's failure to sign or veto a bill within the 10-day period means that it becomes law automatically. Vetoed bills are returned to the house that first passed them, together with a statement of the reason for their disapproval. A vetoed bill can become law if two-thirds of the members of each house vote to override the Governor's veto. If a bill is sent to the Governor when the Legislature is out of session, the rules are a bit different. At such times, the Governor has 30 days in which to make a decision, and failure to act ("pocket veto") has the same effect as a veto." -
I have a pair of Church TX-44 Super Planers which are new and still in the packaging. These big in-lines are reversible and meant to pull coppers, leadcore, etc. The video on their website even shows them capable of pulling a mag dipsey or 124 deeper diver off of these in-line boards. Nice for a smaller boat or if you don't feel like messing with big boards. See video and pic below... Anyways, $55 for the pair plus shipping and they are yours, or will meet you locally in the Syracuse area to save you on the shipping costs.

CDGA Troller - We did 21 fish in the boat on Saturday morning...left the water when the lightning came. Did a lot of rainbows up top...that area had a bunch of nice fish. Wife lost one that was prob a solid 8 or 9 at the back of the boat. We also lost a HUGE laker that hit a spinny and fly off a mag dipsey. As it came to the surface the mouth was as big as the ring on the mag dipsey....I ended up somehow knocking the fish off as the hooks got caught in the net bag on the scoop...totally my fault and I feel terrible about it. We had that mag dipsey firing for lakers down deep, but only had that one decent laker on all day, and couldn't get the riggers to do much at all...tried long leads, short leads, spoons, fly's everything...but just couldn't get anything consistent going for the lakers as well. Fished a slide diver up high on the other side for bows and browns along with the boards...We did a bunch of smaller lakers to about 6 pounds up top also....the real disappointment was the browns...we only got 1 all morning. Glad you guys got on the board!

I saw you when you were leaving the launch to head home on Saturday....I spotted my old mast on the front of your boat sporting a pair of big-jon reels I was pulling that big black starcraft past you as you parked on the hill....looks like you had about the same day as we had out there...started in shallow...2 for 3, then went out a little deeper...found some bait and marked a few fish, but nothing going.... -
I have a pair of OffShore Tackle SST inlines for sale. These may have been used once...or it's possible not at all. I cannot remember using them. They are in like-new condition. Paid $30 each for them new, willing to sell the pair for $40. These are no longer in production so if you want them, better grab them now. I'm located in Baldwinsville NY. Local pick up or will ship in continental 48, but buyer to pay all shipping costs...

You can purchase them online at www.LOC.org -
I have a pair of Big Jon clamp on mounts (model CM00312). I'm looking to get $50 for the pair. (sell for over $40 each new) They allow you to mount Big Jon downriggers to the gunnels of smaller aluminum boats, and can be removed with ease. They are pre-drilled for the Big Jon 4x4 mounting pattern...fit gunnels up to 2 inches wide.

Regardless of what it was used for...it only has 100 hours on it. Period! My guess is the commercial aspect was meant for the guys who put 10 hours aday each and every day on those outboards...not someone with 100 hours over the course of 3 years...that's complete bull....

No way a GPS signal would penetrate very far at all into the water...typical GPS signals on the surface of the earth are about -140 to -160 dBW.....that's very little signal which would easily be attenuated by the water...GPS frequency I think is in the 1.5 GHz range which will easily be absorbed by a solid layer of water....main take-away from all of that...don't waste your time.
