    We also fished Fairhaven yesterday from 100 to 290. We had few marks and few bait fish on our screen too but we went 4 for 6 with 2 real nice 10lb steelhead. Fished from 6:30 to 11:30 and the heat drove us off. Most fish came on FF's. One of the steelhead took a NK spoon on a dipsy. All fish went back except for 1 steelhead. Overall we were satisfied with the day.

    I have 2 like new Convector CV 30 DS line counter reels for sale. No boat rash at all! Gear ratio is a fast 6.2 to 1. Reason for selling is I just have too many reels around! I will only sell the reels as a pair. Looking for 150 dollars for the pair plus shipping. Paypal only or can possibly meet on weekends only to be picked in the Oswego, Fair Haven or Mexico area for cash.

    I have a like new Beckman Salmon net for sale. It has a 4-7 ft extendable handle. Coated net measures 31x36x40. This is one of the best salmon nets out there. They sell for 130.00 plus tax at Fat Nancy's. I'm looking to get 100.00 for it. No shipping.     x2. Speed of the old Mag 10's. Came out in the 80's. I know... I had them. Not recommended to lift more than 10 to 12lb ball.

    Saltist would be the best but you will pay north of 150 for them. You can't argue with the Shimano Tekota although some aren't thrilled with their drag system. You might want to consider Okuma Convector or Coldwaters for their 6.1 and 6.2 gear ratios. They will run in the 90 to 115 dollar range.

    Same here. I wish those 47's came with a higher retrieve ratio for salmon and steelhead. I have moved on to Okuma's for the 6.1 retrieve ratios they offer in their models. I will still hang on to the Diawa reels though for inshore Brown trout. Great reels as far as I'm concerned.

    Probably time to move on from Wright's Landing if that's the case. Parking is bad now near the docks on most weekends. I can't imagine it being worse than that when all is said and done.
