  13. Every year the state stocks thousands of browns in Pultneyville. Then hundreds if not thousands of birds have a feast. I watched yesterday id say the bird missed half the time lol For my two cents Id at least hold off till the bait was in or how about letting the fish go out in the lake I appreciate the stocking program but hate to see this loss.
  14. from one (smallish) fish. THANKS FOR YOUR PIC.CANT WAIT TO VISIT YOUR AREA EAST BASIN IS SLOW. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  15. The browns might survive better if the state stocked at night. It also could put more in sodus bay away from the cormorants.Up here in pultneyville Ive seen just a few birds, dont know if the stock went in yet. They do prey on the stockers and roost here in the harbor when they come in. The harbor had some great fishing for browns last fall
  16. I hope they do a better job than the messed up VA.

    Sodus Bay

finally got perch fishing again. The low water has kept in off the water till today.Arneys has a decent ramp if you need deeper water.$10 charge or take your chances at the town ramp where I couldn't launch(shallow) I looked around seems 35 ft was a good place anywhere in the bay.(middle of bay) Fishing was good but not many big ones stingnose jigging spoon worked great. Happy Holidays john
