  1. Question, I redid my cable end & the sub troll works as long as I don't use a stacker release on the coverd cable. Whats up with that ?? I use a eye & crimp the cable back on itself. Thanks for advice.

  3. Just for info. a friend fished Port Clinton this past weekend got 51 fish in 2 days including a 11 & 13# der. Suppose to go back this weekend, can't figure why??
  4. Captain Larry, In fisherman just had a show from that same area . They showed a bass 20"+ , over 6+ #'s. Nice fish! I think the show was taped in Spring 2011.
  5. If you belong to southtown walleye you can get a discount at Weekleys if you show them your membership card, well worth it imo. I use to pick my own also but no more. We use to pour sudsy dish washing liquid with lemon in it mixed with water on the ground anytime of day & the worms would just pop up out of the ground also.

  8. I have seen that happen also, does lots of damage to an outdrive ,wallet & ego!

Going in water: get out of tow veichle; unplug trailer lights; take off transom tie downs; check transom plug is in; raise motors; put lines on cleats; back boat into water; take winch & safty hook off; launch boat ! Coming out of water: raise motors; back trailer into water; winch boat on trailer & put safty hook on; pull out of water; put transom straps on; put motors into travel position; plug lights in; (+ or -)Check everything correct & Check again & head down the road! Works for me.

  12. Boat is repaired, new motor, up & running. The owner is thrilled & L&M (Hank) did a fantastic job!! Thank you.
  13. The owner decided to replace the engine & keep the boat. We are takeing it to L&M (Hank)tomorrow AM. to have the work done. Sorry , but thanks for your interest.

  15. I have been running wire for a few yrs. on my dipseys, with no problem yet. I figure I can always put the twillies on if need be.
  16. I was just on the web site it doesn't show how to rig them. I thought you had to criss cross the line on them some how. Sounds like the 10 -12 twist is EZ enough !Got it! thanks.
  17. A friend gave me some Romer stacker releases today but I forgot how to use them. I used them 20 yrs ago but can't remember how to rig (old timers) them any tips . Thanks.
