Why do they take the docks out so early?? Do they block the launch off so it can't be used or can you still launch a boat without them? Thanks for any info ,was thinking of makeing a trip there from Buffalo.

That maybe something to look at after I have the repairs made/welded. I did contact the manufacturer & it must be a problem for them because they do make a repair sleeve for this problem so I don't think I am the first. I am sure ther is some twist/torsion when pounding lake erie 4-5 footers . You proably don't get those on the finger lakes?

Just wondering if anyone has had trouble with their hard top frame welds & upright posts cracking? Two years ago my welds cracked at the braces on the front of the frame & I had those repaired. Now the main front support pipes are cracked just below the repaired welds on those same pipes. This top is on a 92 Grady White seafarer. I was thinking of adding a cross brace between the 2 main pipes when having the cracks repaired. Any other ideas out there ? Thanks.

A friend has a (1985-87?) quicksilver throttle control that won't pull out so he is able to set the choke to start or start the boat in neutral. He has been lubracating it but does not seem to help. Any ideas on what to do/or look for? Boat is an i/o. thanks

We have smoked bigger (8#s) & they were great. All we did was gill & gut them & smoke the whole thing. Just peel the skin back & enjoy! Try it !

Try an Amish buggy/canvas shop for new zippers. Maybe if you can drill a sm.hole in the part left there you could use a split ring/key ring in the hole to work the zipper, I have done this on kids coats before. jm$.02

Ch. Tony, try the lake erie perch fishing if you haven't, its relaxing & fun when you get into the 12-15" fish. They fight good for their size & they taste as good or better than the walleyes! I have a firend who wasn't into them until I took him now he loves fishing them. Jm $.02.

My big jons came new wired like this never had a problem with them just wired in an outlet.

A friend just blew a tire going to onidea lake at 65-70 mph. It ripped of the fender, tail lite,brake line & did gel coat damage. He only had 40# of air in the tires. The trie dealer told him they should be at 50#'s. Guys load boats up with Equip, coolers, & other odds & ends ,all add up in weight. Low air creates lots of heat. Easier & cheaper to add air buy 6 plys

Dude, got a water separator, which has nothing to do with gas separtion & ruining your gas lines & gaskets, Dude!

Mr. Supon, does K 100 have a shelf life? If I were to buy a case, I wonder if it goes bad. I use Yamaha products now at $38.00 per quart & I don,t think it does anything for gas seperation. Does anyone wonder why the oil co.s just don't add this stuff to their gas! I suppose it would cost us big $$$!

A friend of mine had a rider, he had to list every peice of equip.,rods reels, electronics. with serial #'s. & take pics. He did get ripped off & they tried to jerk him around but in the end he got paid full replacement value for all of it after a bit of arguement. He did have to pay extra for the rider.
