    Have had both & like the o/b over the i/o much easier to winterize. Big motor to get there & small one (kicker) to troll all day (cheap). Jmo.

    Condrats! nice buck. I hunted with them 2yrs. ago. Saw some monsters but no shots. They do run large size out there.

    My buddy loves his, its great for anchoring over perch schools. I know its not good at the mouth of the upper river, not enough power. It works well when going back & forth on the same trolling line. He uses a wireless hand remote with his.

    Nice building, hope you got a back door in it so you can get the first thing in out when needed! Nice job, you'll get lots of "assets" in there, mines getting full, time to unload some tihngs.

    I do the gimble mounts with big jons & have not had a problem at all. The only thing is if you trailer the boat with them in they bounce around a bit so I just remove them or tie them tight together with rope or rachet strap.

    Are any launches left open after Oct. 15 at the Sm.boat harbor or at Erie basin for the musky fishing guys? And if so how long are they open? thanks for info.

    krylon or rustolum makes a paint for use on plastic if thats what you are painting. jm $.02
