  1. Nice fish, The big ones like to go straight to the bottom and stay there.
  2. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s):8/21 -8/23 Time on Water:8 hrs a day Weather/Temp:nice Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: good Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 23 Total Boated:15 Species Breakdown:2 browns,1 coho , rest kings Hot Lure: spinny and flies (hammer) Trolling Speed: 2.5 Down Speed: Boat Depth: 90 ft -140 ft Lure Depth: 90ft-125 ft ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS On 8/21 fished out of oswego, for the first 4 hours didn't move a rod. Tried 120 out to 350 ft. About 1:00 got first king, 120 fow, 110 down on rigger. At 100 fow to 90 fow started to mark huge pods.Got 2 more kings on rigger, dragging the bottom. Then the wire dipsey takes a hit, my buddy bert takes the rod and lands a big brown. Once in the boat, I weighed the fish , kicking around 18 lbs. Then I knew we had a derby fish. So we trolled back to wrights and hit one more king, dipsey 300ft, all spinny and hammer flies. We ended the day with 9 hits and 5 fish. At woody's that brown was 17lbs, first place. On 8/22 we fished out of Mexico by plant.100 fow to 140 fow. 9 hits and 6 fish, no derby fish. All hits on dipseys 310ft and riggers 110 ft down.WHITE AND GREEN DOTS ON FLASHERS AND HAMMER FLIES. Had a hell of a hit on wire dipsy, broke the (fish on) rod holder and the pole went in the water. Lucky I had a thin rope tied to my rod. Picked up the rod and landed the king.I lost a rod 5 years ago, so now I always clip a rope to my dipsey rods. On 8/23 fished for 4 hours, 6 hits and landed 4. same program as 8/22. I have pictures of the fish on my i phone, but need to figure out to post them. ====================

  5. Had same problem 5 years ago. I have two fish finders on my boat. I turned off all my electronics. Then turn on fish hawk. Fish hawk was working fine. Then I turned on one electronic at a time. I found out the one of my fish finders (hummingbird) was fighting with the fish hawk. So now when I use my fish hawk, I leave off the hummingbird. HOPE THIS HELPS

  13. Fishing Report Your Name / Boat Name: ============== TRIP OVERVIEW ============== Date(s): Time on Water: Weather/Temp: Wind Speed/Direction: Waves: Surface Temp: Location: LAT/LONG (GPS Cords): =============== FISHING RESULTS =============== Total Hits: 15 Total Boated:8 Species Breakdown:5 kings, 2 cohos, 1 big brown Hot Lure: sd white green dots, hammer fly Trolling Speed: var Down Speed: 2.2 to 2.6 Boat Depth: 300 - 550 Lure Depth: 92 - 120 ==================== SUMMARY & FURTHER DETAILS On 8/8 fished out of oswego, started in 150 ft out to 550. Got first king on rigger 110 down over 350 ft. All day didn't mark many fish. At 500 ft got 2 more kings off riggers 92 ft and 118 ft down. My buddy also lost a good king after a 20 min fight. At 550 fow we got a double on both riggers , both cohos. We trolled for 10 hours this day. I thought this was a bad day, but we finished with 5 in the box after losing 3 fish. All fish on flasher with white and green dots, hammer fly. On 8/9 we fished out of mexico. Didn't get first till 300 fow a brown. On rigger 110 down, white sd with green dots, hammer fly. At 326 fow I got a 27 lb king on rigger 100 ft down. Bob got a nice king on dipsey 330 , green flasher and green fly, 29 lbs. After trolling for about 2 hours with no action, I changed one rigger to a orange and yellow flasher and fly combo at 92 ft. The rigger fired, when I set the hook the fish took out 425 ft on the first run. I couldn't move this fish. AFTER ABOUT 25 MINS ,I lost the fish 25 ft from the boat. I was pissed. Then the dipsey at 300ft fired 2 more times , I lost both of them. I think I need to sharpen the hooks. Then around 4:00 it began to get nasty. It was time to leave. 3 in the box and missed 4. I marked more fish at mexico then in oswego. ====================
