  1. If those are the species you want, go to Cayuga, Dean's Cove Launch.
  2. You can run Dipsey's on the gimbel but it's a lot easier to run them out in adjustable holders to get them horizontal. One of my setups. You can run multiply dipsey's out of one side of the boat if u have multiple rod holders. I have bert tracks so I can move rod holders around the boat were I need or want depending on what I'm running. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Are you just planning on running riggers? Cause you need to run more than that, you need some side rod holders so you can run dispey's.
  4. Think someone posted some info in I-bay in the fishing report section today.
  5. I had the same issue with my old boat, I took it to 3 different shops, they couldn't get it working. Would work on the muffs but you put in the water it would overheat in no time. Even had the mechanics out on the water with me to show them....that's why she's my old boat....nobody could figure it out after a lot of money went in it...said screw it got a new boat.
  6. WANTED: Fish Hawk X4 Probe Had the pleasure of losing mine to the bottom of Lake O over the weekend, seeing if anybody has one laying around they would be willing to sell. Thanks.
  7. Problem with that is people do not pay to catch LT....getting repeat customers when they pay to catch salmon and you give them LT...they will not come back to you. Just saying, if I pay for steak and you bring me chicken i'm not coming back....
  8. 1) I like to run the lead between 22 to 24. But do have some longer leads if I'm not getting knock offs to switch to. 2) Yes but not often more of something to try when slow. Thu if I'm targeting Cocho I run dodgers more often than not up high. 3) Depends how deep ur fishing. If you fishing deep 8 to 20. Up higher longer. 4) Rod length or just abit longer or you won't be able to net them unless u hand pull. 5) you can run leadcore or copper off the bigger boards. Not sure about a dipsey's. 15. Weather for Sunday - Weather Underground I'm not sure if Weather Underground is updating correctly as it states May 9th and May 5th for when they last updated it. No matter what I do the last updated times state that for the certain area i'm looking Three Mile to Sodus or Sodus to Mexico. Anybody know what the weather is going to be like on Sunday? Was hoping to get out to do a little fishing.
  16. I run a mix of both. Though the last few years I've been catching more on pro-trolls. Though a few spin doctor colors work better than the same pattern in pro-troll. Just weird really. I know guys that won't run spin doctors on down riggers just on dipsey's. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  17. Well you need to get some trolling bags than. Or get some 5 gallon buckets and put some holes in them to throw off the side to slow u down cause u aren't catching much going 3 plus. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  18. I would not be going 1.5mph for Browns. 2.5mph give ur take depending on weather and conditions. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  19. [emoji651]️ what he said. Seneca isn't even worth fishing anymore don't even bother with it. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  20. Water temps for Browns should be looking for warm pockets breaks ard 50 to 55 if u can. Hard sometimes. Even the slightest degree break thu from the cold water will hold Browns. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  21. Run shallow (10 to 30ft) early stick baits off boards if u have them and spoons down 5 to 15ft on riggers if u have them depending on how deep u are. Move out deeper as the sun comes up will need right gear to get u to the fish in deeper water. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  22. They could be friends? Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  23. There was a guy out in Pine City that did them. I had him repair mine once. But he did make them also, can't remember the guys name. This was about five years ago when he did work for me. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
  24. For Browns u need longer leads off the riggers specially shallow. 35 to 60 depending on water clarity. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United
