    There is also concern on the lack of emerald shiners in the entire Lake Erie. There is something definitely going with the decline and it probably caused by the zebra mussels devouring the nutrients.

    Can't find any minnows along the Niagara river shoreline. I hope this is not as bad as last years shortage. They were thick and heavy in December thru February .

    They are fishing already out of Sturgeon Point. No reports of catching fish. A nice walleye was caught and released this past Saturday. Please join the Lake Erie site, which is associated with this web site

    Lake Erie has also seen a decline in smallmouth so this past year. The bass that we caught were medium size. There were not many small ones.

    Limits are only good for the average fishermen. The commercials do not abide by the limit. I know of catches brought in for sales that exceeded 4 times the limit. These people after after one thing, MONEY !!!!!!!
