  1. What he said. Quick search online. Excellent knives. I also have a smaller Cutco for smaller cohos and walleyes. Great knife also, but for the kings, go with the Forschner
  2. That narrows it down. lol
  3. this tactic will catch the biggest king this fall.
  4. I knew the place was there, but totally forgot the name. Thanks.
  5. Anyone know of any places that can weld a fender to a trailer near Wilson/Olcott? Hoping to launch the boat, drop off the trailer to get fixed, and pick it up later that day. I can't imagine it would take more than a half day to remove and weld a new fender on. If it takes longer, I guess we'll have to fish more...shucks.
  6. there's gunna be a good chance your arms will be tired come sunday
  7. 36-70" rig with a few small flies/squids pulling meat at the end. Typically behind a SD or paddle. http://www.atommiktrollingflies.com/3_fly_rig.htm Ditto
  8. used a few of them this year, they def. produce
  9. I think you were looking for this pic of the spread BTW, how's the finger doin??
  10. we've all been there. Feels even worse when you lose your best rig on the first day of your trip....
  11. switched from 10lb balls to 13lb torpedos from Atommik. lot less blowback, track straighter, but a lot slower coming up with the Mag 10s
  12. good guy here. Great communication and keeps you updated. I'll begetting many more spoons from him down the road.
  13. running whole bait, we get the head and flashers from http://www.michiganangler.com/ every flasher/head we have purchased has produced. Once the day starts to slow down, we typically run 'em as our deepest off the rigger. Like most people say, it usually doesn't produce the most fish compared to other set ups, but typically the biggest.
  14. even though they are not Okis, these have worked well for us and quick shipping. http://www.michiganangler.com/Reel_Flashers.htm
  15. If I get it fresh that day, i don't brine it. Whatever is left over gets brined for 24hrs. then frozen until next use. Holds up better than just refreezing it and better than tossing it just to buy another tray the next time we go out.
