    Fishing was tough, some nice lakers and largemouth ended up being caught.

    We encountered some not so friendly anglers too, wonder if it was the same guys... Anyway, we fished hard and couldn't get anything decent Saturday or today. Friday night was a different story and landed many bows including the one below. Sadly couldn't revive her after an amazing battle. 8lbs, 28 inches. All other fish released unharmed.

    I do well fishing the afternoon. Pontoon boats are an issue though.

    I have both the DM II and DM III models. I've replaced the drag in all of them but feel the DM II was much better quality. I'm not sure who manufactured the DMII, but you're correct Okuma makes the DM III.

    Lakers are still biting. This was the biggest of the day. 29.5 inches.
