    Hey everyone, I'm looking to have my parents dock /lift put in the water for the season on Owasco. Normally myself and a few friends/family take care of the job, but I've torn my ACL and am unable to handle the job. The dock is about 100 foot long and the lift is fairly light. Anyone install them or know a business who does? I'd like to get the boat in the water and start fishing!

    Sliders are great. I'm yet to try one with a FF yet, seems like a hassle.

    You can fit 10 colors of 27lb with plenty of backing no problem. I use Cabela's brand and really like it.

    Are you using leadcore, copper, or just mono flatlines? That should be the most important consideration when selecting a board. Personally, I'm a huge fan of Church boards. My TX-22s can handle anything I've thrown at them.

    This seems pretty common with lake trout. Someone found a human finger inside one a few summers back on lake Powell.

    I always liked my Humminbird units, made the switch the HDS series Lowrance and love it. Very easy to use and great units!
