  1. I would hate to see it leave Geneva but if it's do or die, get it somewhere that can keep it and grow it. The way big fish Friday is growing in size , I won't be surprised if that becomes the derby. Just a shame area businesses can't keep it going. But oh well. I for one can't wait.
  2. I can tell you Les, she purred in the driveway. Guy talked me into the 9.8 vs the 8hp pointing out that you won't see the increased hp until you open her up. Trolling speeds I should still be fine with copper. So ended up with electric start and because I was such a nice guy, he knocked off another 30.00. Lol. Fit on the boat nice. Just have to get the ez steer hooked up.
  3. Very nice Mike. Professional looking to say the least. I like the whites Wonder if you could slip some orange in with it. Like #5. I'd take a couple.
  4. Appreciate the info everyone. Ended up with a Tohatsu. Ordered Monday, got here today. Can't wait to get some oil in her and run it.
  5. Holy Bacon, awesome!
  6. Sorry cooter I'm in upstate NY.
  7. Cooter, I might have a 93 6hp evinrude twin cylinder up for grabs soon. 2 stroke if interested.
  8. Good stuff!
  9. Fishy, by definition of underway your correct, your 22 ft was incorrect. That's what flagged me.
  10. Forgot to ask , bait on the jigs? Or just artificial?
  11. Not to contradict anyone because I think it's safe to always have them on in on the cold waters, NYS Nav Law Sec 40.1e states "anyone underway in boat less than 21 feet Nov 1-May 1 must wear them". If your jigging and not underway your legal. Just not as safe as you could be. Those are some solid fish. Thanks for sharing!
  12. Great report. You made it sound easy ! Congrats on your day
  13. Thanks King. I've got a couple other questions, I'll pm ya.
  14. X2.........million......
  15. King how big is your boat you run the 9.8 on? J&J I think unless you have electric start you don't have the alternator charge kit on it but that's a guess. If in fact you did they put out 6amps it looks like.
  16. Way to go!
  17. FishingFL, I hung sheets /stapled on the ceiling in my garage to section off my hull so that I could use a kerosene heater and salamander to heat when I did my transom during that cold winter of 13. Could fire them up to get it to 80 than back them down. Left the bottom of the trailer open and garage door open a little for CO release. Don't want to be in danger of that. Keep the resins away from them as well.
  18. Thanks Sutton, glad to hear.
