  7. Nick, just wondering if it might be the mode the unit it is? I read where there is two modes, one for a hotspot for updating and such, the other mode to link to tablets and computers. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  8. I'll second the viewer option. Pretty cool to view on your phone when setting lines. The WI fi came in real handy for updating software. Didn't need any sd cards.
  9. Not sure if the size of the hole, is a blind rivet too small? If not a stainless pan head bolt with washer if needed can give a finished look.
  10. Oh man, Uncle Freddy is that you??? Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  11. Easy peasy, guys are giving way too much credit. Thanks though. It's this site that rocks. I'm just paying it forward!
  12. 19ft GLS SeaNymph. I think you'll be fine. I think others have it for your size boat as well. They may chime in on how it works.
  13. I've been trolling it down to 1.0-1.5 for pulling copper with no issues.
  14. No problem, sorry didn't attach where I saw it. Anchor express website. They also beat anyone's price if you find it lower. http://www.anchorexpress.com/raymarine-ev-100-power-evolution-autopilot-t70154
  15. Buck, here's an opinion for what it's worth, look at what you have and what you need to invest to get it to work. Electric motor up front needs a battery system. If you have the batteries already it might be a good choice. I pilots are running 1k? Now days to 1500.00. The Lowrance AP needs the HDS series sonar to run them. I think. So you have the cost of both units if you don't. Not sure what you have for sonar. If you have an HDS unit the Lowrance might be your ticket. If you don't look at the EV 100 by raymarine. 1246.00 plus a 300.00 rebate till sept 5. So for 900.00 you get a complete AP system. You don't need anything else to use it either. Have to tell ya, hard to beat. Simple as hell to install. Just another option for you good luck. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  16. Agree, and let's not forget, unless I'm missing something, he pulled himself out vs being DQ'd. That's a huge difference in my mind and if this is in fact the case kudos to him. Integrity at its best. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  17. I wouldn't give up on her just yet, maybe she was able to free herself, you should post a pic of what she looks like so we know if we see her.....
  18. I would of paid more for a seat on that barge than a seat at a Billy Joel concert ! Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
  19. kinda agree however for what it's worth , went with a 9.8 electric start, now I run Depth, Fish Hawk, AP,radios, lights, aerator. When I'm done trolling 6-8hrs my batteries are at 14v like new. When I had my non electric prior to I had to start my main every now and then to make sure That level of comfort to me is huge and would never go back to a non charging system.
  20. It is a nice rig. Still have to look into those high seas trees. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United
