  1. Thun that's how mine are, 2" stanchion with 24" piece of 2" pipe. One each side, they work great and a lot less money. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  2. You can go on their site and get the instructions and also the tape if you want. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  3. Longline is correct, I just installed a new probe this year and it tells you that in the instruction. I did opt to use the thimble and snap swivel and not directly to the probe. I had no problems at all with readings. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  4. Plenty of times it starts out 1-2' and by the end of the day ends up much higher and sometimes it's rough and sets down. The reports are usually close and the one thing I've learned over many years is any westerly wind over 10 usually isn't good. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  5. Floatfisher I hope by now your problem is solved but if not I had the same problem as Gambler with the pickup tube clogged. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  6. Lily that was me on my buddies boat, (mine was at the doctors). I'm Local 461 Kingston NY. best job in the world but you know that. Good luck and stay safe. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  7. I'm with Tim, other than the flee problem 17lb is not to light if the drags are set right and you let them tire out. I used to run straight 12lb and never broke a fish but on occasion had the dodger/flasher come back with only a portion of leader because they took the squid/fly off and that was 50lb. Of course the line has to be quality and not old neither. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  8. Most fish coming around 70' plus or minus a few feet. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  9. Friday they were in 90' in front of Selkirk Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  10. Contact Harvey (Troutman87) on here. He is in the Watkins Glen area and makes torpedoes. I'm pretty sure he does 10lb and up. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  11. I have the older riggers myself and rewired using the trolling motor plugs which are #10 wire. I used #6 wire and went off the battery switch to a fuse panel from Blue Sea at the rear of the boat. Each rigger is fused separately with 30amp fuses from that panel. These fuse panels come in different sizes for however many circuits you want. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app

  13. I'd agree with the Blood Run Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  14. And yet something else that would be easy to fix is lost to technology. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  15. There has to be a float switch someplace whether it's separate or built in to your pump. See if you can find that and push it up like the water would and see if the pump runs. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  16. Good luck! Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  17. I wondered the same thing earlier this year when I rigged my new boat and did put on 4. The first times out earlier this summer i was untangling line more than I wanted to due to the currents so I picked up 2. Last times out I ran all 4 without a problem. Like was said you can't run 4 if you need them if they're not there but you don't have to always run 4. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  18. The past 2 trips we have got Steelies on sliders about 45-50 down, riggers 80 down and 400 copper anywhere from 175FOW out to 320. We were looking/hoping for Kings but not many of those. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  19. I had that exact same problem a few years ago and it was the impeller. Like was said could be blockage at or inside the intake. Either way water is not getting to the pump and should be easy fix. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  20. We fished Mexico last week, went 3-6 sun with 2 Steelhead and a King. Broke one off and dropped two. Had good temp down 80 from 120FOW all the way to 380FOW. Sounds like where you are, some bait 80-90 down but no marks. Thought both finders where broke. Had more releases than I marked fish. Good luck guys. 22. We've had some great fishing 2nd week of September for both Kings and Cohoes. I hope to be there myself at that time. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
  23. I was there myself this past weekend and I run thr Blood Run Sea Flea. Doesnt completely stop them but in greatly reduces them to the point where you can fight the fish and there is not that many.
  24. I have the TDR's and wouldn't trade them for the world. Price is great and they handle any fish we put the hook into. Sent from my iPhone using Lake Ontario United mobile app
