I have not fished spring in the Henderson area but we go to little Sodus 3rd week in April for about 25 years and always do well there at that time. Perhaps Saiff charters could fill you in about spring browns in that area.

I got the lowrance unit that just came out last spring 995.00 I really like it so far it helped us get quite a few fish in July the zig zag trolling pattern @75 ft worked great for us It was easy to install and commission once they got the touch software. Not a lot to do this winter without snow and ice , already got the tuna gear all gone through and just ordered a couple 80/130 trident rods from Reel Easy ,now just figured out tonite first trip to Fair Haven will be April 16th to 30th also going to do the last 2 weeks of July again and then all tuna from there on my kid is building quite a boat fund with some help from last winters snow. Lets hope 2016 is better than 15 , although a bad year on the big O is better that a great year on any water we have here in NH

Sk8man is right on with his post I am running gen2 touch that is quite satisfactory for me I did add the autopilot and sure am glad that I did that. just like another guy in the boat.. You know 2015 summer was tough fishing I didn't get a chance to come back in the fall from what I hear im glad that I didn't. I choose to chase Bluefin instead with my son who is addicted to it and managed to go enough times to be on board for 5 of the 6 fish he got.

nice fish KJ Jumping Jack do you have a little bend in that meat to give it a good spin ? I had trouble with meat till I got the bend right. Im chasing Tuna for the rest of the season

my kid got one 670 yesterday and another friend 620 doing the Newburyport tourney next weekend. I was at the lake the last week of July and first week of Aug we did ok by getting 3-6 a day Good luck to you at the big O

Went out for a trail run Sat afternoon got 1 teenager then lost a ball and yes the x4D was attached got in called Louis they opened up and got me one. Sunday morning 2 for 3 1 adult and lost a screamer almost emptied my spool had to put the brakes on him played it for another 5 mins and gone now pea soup out there will do an afternoon run fish 90-110 all my action on the riggers with spoons
