  1. Saw two the other night as well. Weird
  2. My plan exactly too Shawn. Heading out from sackets solo at first light. Looks like theres gonna be a lot of us out there tomorrow. Hit me up on 68, boat name "Blutooth".
  3. Nice work! Wish I could've stayed out longer and worked that water a little harder. Hope it holds for the weekend.
  4. I hit the lanes tonight from 6-7 pm with very little marks and no hits, temp was deep. Moved south of calf from 7:30-8:30 in 130-150 fow with good temp and marks down 100-110 or so. Landed one nice laker, a skippy, and lost one on a rigger.
  5. Heading out today after work. Hoping they are still there. Thanks a lot for the intel Shawn. Hoping the weather towards the end of this week doesnt screw them up again
  6. Congrats on the sale. I think I saw this boat trailering down 81 today. Sick ride.
  7. Same results monday along the finger. 66 degrees down 125 in 145 fow. Dropped the ball to the bottom and finally saw temps below 60 in the mud.
  8. I'm new to this whole game, but easiest solo for me is one rigger with spoon and a slider and a wire mag dipsey with ff or meat rig on two or three setting off either side. Two riggers and sliders are difficult for me to manage solo, especially when one hooks up. I've contemplated ditching a diver rod and throwing out a 300 or 400 copper, but havent had the guts to do it solo...yet. Tangles are not my friend.
  9. also interested in pics. please text to 4128184754
  10. I will check that. Maybe should change out the 9V as well, although it has only been used ~30 hours or so.
  11. The last two times out trolling with my moor subtroll 900 probe, the temperature display continually flashes, like once a second flashing. Speeds seem to be reading ok, jumps around a little for time to time, but for the most part, stays fairly consistent. Checked all the connections and cant find anything amiss. Anyone have any ideas?
  12. 22' wellcraft using a 48" drift sock. Couldnt keep a 1/2 oz tube on the bottom, not very fun with the boat rocking like that anyways though
  13. Ditto on the waves. I thought the wind would die down last night, but never did. Headed from sackets down to the green can off wescotts around 7:00 PM to drag some tubes for bass but couldnt even get a good drift in.
  14. Wish I was getting out there again this weekend, have travels plans the next three weekends. Looking forward to hearing some reports. If the lake ever calms down, may try to get out to the lanes one afternoon next week. The fan has been blowing pretty hard since sunday.
  15. Nice fish. Hard to tell by the pic, but is that an Atlantic?
  16. Trolled west side of cherry island into guffins tonight for an hour or so. Picked up one northern, 26" or so on a harness. No other rods moved
  17. Agree with Devin. Although a rookie to the area, have been striking out on browns. The consistent N-NE blow over the last few weeks has kept the water cool and clear. Hopefully that changes as predicted saturday through next week.
  18. Been fishing the same area the past two weekends and had similar results. Last weekend caught bass, walleyes, pike, and lakers, but no browns. Skipped this past saturday, trolled sunday AM south looking for browns from the cut to stony creek, with no one home. Think I may have followed you in yesterday? Water temps were cold yesterday and crazy clear. Oh well, gonna give a go next weekend as well.
  19. I never had riggers when walleye fishing Lake Erie out of walnut creek, but we always used to switch to spoons on our dipsy's once the white bass hookups got too bad on harnesses/crawlers and did pretty well. Purple/pink stingers with copper backs. Willow blade worm harnesses were hard to beat though as long as the white bass stayed off them.
  20. Yamaha T9.9. If you want a tiller, not sure that you can get remote helm controls for throttle as well. Here is my 2015 just installed last week, didnt get the power trim, but its available. Electric start, long shaft, tiller. I installed a quick disconnect tie rod to main F200, but not shown here.
  21. I drove down to the henderson launch yesterday afternoon to see if any boats were out and caught a glimpse of your rig at BCC. Major jealousy. Sick rig man. I'll be out thurs and fri afternoon this week, as well as sat and sunday hopefully. New to the area up here, what channel do you guys monitor? Good luck this weekend!
  22. Gaff is sold pending payment. Garelick pedestal swivel still available. Make an offer if you need one, i'll let it go cheap.
  23. Also interested
  24. Cleaning out my gear room and figured I would throw these out there: Aftco Taper Tip Gaff - gold finish, 4' aluminum shaft, 3" hook. used a few times during my short stint saltwater fishing, still has plastic cover on hook. 9/10 condition. Not sure if anyone on here is into the salt game or not, but Aftco makes a good gaff. Asking $45 picked up, obo. Willing to ship for cost. Garelick Seat post swivel spider. Brand new, never used. Garelick part #99023. $25 picked up, obo. Also willing to ship. Or trade for any salmon gear you may be willing to part with. I'm located in Sackets Harbor, NY. Chuck
