I'm currently running two long lines (copper/lead) off church boards. 2 riggers and 2 dipseys. I am setup to run two more (four total) dipseys. My question is...In what order to I deploy the dipseys. From the outside in? Inside out? Just trying to minimize an unnecessary mess if possible. Thanks for any help. Tim Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app

I agree w the church board comment as well. Caught two kings yesterday on that set up. The only thing I would add is get the one that has the yellow release. So much better IMO. These can pull a horse. I love them. So simple. Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Went 300 -450 last night. Braddocks area. 4/10. Long copper off the boards were hot. 3 dipseys as fired. Riggers slow. Nothing on meat. Hit a steelhead on a 4 color with an orange spoon. Green and black spoons took the king's. Water was 48 degrees 100 ft down over 400. My son friend caught his first salmon. Great night. Saw two other boats out. My son lost a monster at the end of the night. Screamer. Gone. That was a bummer. But exciting! Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app -

My Bro and I headed out of the Genesee Sunday around 4pm. Headed north west to Braddocks between 350-400 feet. Surface temp was 72. When we stopped and started to set up we saw bait swimming all around the boat. That was the first time that has ever happened to me, pretty awesome sight. Anyway, we worked two long lines copper and lead on boards, two dispels and two riggers 40,50,60,70,80 feet. All spoons. Trolled for one hours with nothing hitting. Pulled the lines, took a dip which was fantastic and headed into 260 ft. set up and and once we hit 240ft (80 down) the dipsey fired. Then we lost one on the copper. The rigger popped and things got exciting. We ended up 5/8 with two nice kings. The blue spoons were the hottest. Stayed later than I normally do because of the action and being that far out, had the lights on coming back in. Great night and it was so nice to see salmon in the net. Its been slow for me in June other than lakers so it was needed. As always thank you to everyone who shares tips, depths, lures, etc. It is so helpful. Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads past and present...

Changing oil on kicker while boats in the water
Bustersit replied to Bustersit's topic in This Old Boat
Thanks. -
I need to change the oil on my Merc 9.9 kicker. I was wondering has anybody changed the oil on a kicker while the boats still in the water at the slip? It would save me from pulling the boat etc. But it might be a stupid idea too. Just wondering if anyone has pulled it off Sent from my LM-G710VM using Lake Ontario United mobile app

Lots of boats this am. Great to see. I watched many boats netting fish today. I trolled from 7-11am. Got 6 Lakers which is a personal best, so it made the morning eventful. Green FF nailed three. Was hoping to land a king but no luck. Apparently they were 70-100 ft from what I heard. I was marking in that depth but couldn't hook up. Surface temp was really warm way out compared to other trips this month. And incredibly calm water. Gotta love a south wind. NO MORE EAST Wind! Fun morning. Genny to ibay this morning. Was suggested by whaler head to head east. [emoji106]. Set up along the mud line and good water. Between 30 and 40 Ft. The water was 44.9 on my fishhawk for the first hour. I thought it was broken. We headed out to 50 feet and the temp was 45.5. Went all spoons. Two riggers. Two wire dipseys. Lead core. Went 2-2. First King's to land on the boat in 2020. I thought I was cursed, it’s been so long since the silver hit the deck. So big thanks to Matt and Whaler for the support lately. And to my bro who bought these awesome spoons that took the big boy today. Sent from my iPad using Lake Ontario United mobile app
